I don’t write reviews, good or bad, but my God….this was the absolute worst possible service imaginable. The woman who answers the phone is one of the rudest people I’ve ever had to speak with. She called my wife “crazy” for calling the business multiple times during business hours (she called multiple times because Myers wasn’t answering the phone) and then called her a “liar” when I followed up about the issue in a later call. On top of that, the service people made 3 different appointments to try and fix our A/C and never even fixed the problem. Needless to say that they were also late to all 3 appointments. Completely unapologetic and completely unprofessional. Never had worse service in my life. If you have a choice between Myers and any other company, choose the latter. If there was a rating less than a star, that’s what I’d give them.

The very nice young men came out 18 days ago to fix our heater. They said it needed a new computer panel and would have to order it. We have heard nothing from them about it at all. The day after they came out, my husband (who has little experience fixing heaters, just understands electricity) tried what he thought would work with a $20 part. It fixed it. We’ve honestly just been waiting to see how long it actually would take for them to come back out to discover what they had on order all this time would not fix it. We had to use them with American Home Shield, otherwise we would have gone with a higher rated company.

This joke of a company was sent to my home by American home shield and if I could give them a negative amount of stars I would. They have been “repairing” my AC unit for two months now. Every time they come to my home they claim something new is wrong causing them to need to order new parts. They have schedule appointments to come to my home that they have not shown up to. They have lied over and over again. They fail to answer the phone most of the time. The technician at my house Monday found another issue called his boss on speaker phone and he stated that they would be out Friday to finally complete the repair and there would be no further charge since there has been so much trouble(technician Randall, boss Danny) . Well today they did not show up so I called to speak to the owner. The person I was speaking to identified himself as “as close to the owner as your going to get” (his name is Randy) He seemed reasonable and nice at first but in the end he also lied telling me someone was on the way out to repair the unit at no further charge and they were waving the cost of the Freon only to then call me back and say they were not going to come unless I pay 1000.00 for freon. This really upset me. I told him that I know why they have poor google reviews. He said it was because people just didn’t want to pay for their services. I assure you this review is not about not wanting to pay money for services. It’s about lying and cheating people and terrible business. People are only as good as their word and their word is complete garbage.

I know many of you have had terrible experiences with this company but I can tell you why. They have tried to find qualified technicians who they could rely on and it has been very difficult. Because of this, the other techs have had to increase their workload. I have been so fortunate to get Scott and Jon when we put in a call to AHS. They are so professional and really know all about the Air and Heating Systems. One of them even came out on a Sunday and did some work on the outside unit when we didn't need to be there. It's unfortunate that all the bad apples have caused this company such bad reviews, but I was told that they are working on getting more qualified help. I could not have asked for better service and better technicians. I hope you will give Meyers another chance.

I was sent to Myers AC via American Home Shield. Myer’s Technician said that I needed a new coil for my AC and that all the Freon had leaked out of my system. They gave me a quote of $1450.00 to replace the coil, recharge the AC, and replace the pan (which was replaced already in 2019).
I had a competitor come out for a second opinion. The coil was not bad. My unit was fully charged with Freon already (none had leaked out) and the capacitor on the fan motor was the only thing broken. I was not even charged by the 2nd contractor. AC system was back up and running in 30 minutes.

Our warranty is with American Home Shield who ran a $75 special for an AC tune-up. Mind you, the air conditioning was running just fine at the time. If any thing, it didn't get hot enough on one side of the house in Winter times. Well, by the time Myers was finished with their assessment, we have to pay 1,240.00 to them for all the things found that of course our home warranty didn't cover much of. Basically a new unit. We waited a good amount of time before we booked with them an received a second opinion from a friend who specializes in this work. He stated that we only needed about 4lbs of Freon once pumped down and to just let them go ahead an do the work although some of the parts, he would not charge so high for once he read their assessment. The air ran fine for the first week an unbeknownst to us was slowly leaking out until the point, it was just hot in the house. The Myers technicians stated that 10lbs of Freon was placed in our unit. We promptly called American Shield back with our complaint. Myers sent out a technician on Friday who said that we had a Freon leak and that the unit had frozen up, gold figure. We keep our unit on about 73-75 degrees so how had it frozen up? Now they have to come back , find the leak, and change out the PCP piping under the slab. The biggest hang up is that it is 90 degrees this week and we have already been hot a for a week now. I would have expected faster service for an issue, I feel they caused. I complained to the manager and she could not help me. Ridiculously sad. I may call back for the manager over her. The earliest appt. she said is a week and a day from now. I will be writing Consumer Affairs about my issues with both companies. I also requested a copy of the said charges and work done by this company from American Home Shield for future actions I may need to take. I posted pics of how the work looked inside of the house after the technicians left.

Had a problem with a clogged drain line after preventative maintenance service was performed less than a week before. Came out twice and did not fix it. Called back and said they could not come out for three days. Got fed up and You Tube it. Fixed it myself. This company is the contractor for American Home Shield. Considering canceling my contract with AHS if that’s the contractor for this area.

Had to at least give 1 star to be able to post.
Replaced evaporator coil, didn't inspect their work, rushed off without checking for leaks.
Paid $500.00 + dollars for freon that lasted less than 3 weeks before total loss of cooling again.
Have had to contact another company to fix their unprofessional work.
WILL NEVER USE OR RECCOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Be careful. !!!

I was referred to Myers by American Home Shield Home Warranty. Myers cost for repairing my 2.5 ton A/C were crazy. Myers wanted to charge me $1885 for replacing an air handler and compressor, while charging American Home Shield $1355. According to my computations Myers was marking up their prices 500-750% for parts needed while repairing my unit. I complained to American Home Shield and to Myers then got the work done on my own and cashed out from my Home Warranty. If your home warranty recommends this company, I would pass.

They did a messy job, I asked them to check my air ducts, they didn't. The Terminix guy pointed out bad spots in air ducts, such a unreliable company
