Peter from Ron's Air Conditioning and Heating Services communicated when he was coming; actually earlier than scheduled appointment. He was very polite and communicative on the situation. Performed a safety check to ensure there was no potential harm in the air. Very personable, and a positive attitude.Will surely recommend.
We were assigned Ron Poore through a home warranty company and though he seemed nice, BEWARE!
He went up in the attic and took a picture of our unit and claimed the parts in the picture were mismatched but he could get them warrantied out. Turns out the picture he took was of normal parts of the unit and they were never changed or fixed by the company that had to clean up after him. In fact the parts he wrote on the invoice that needed to be replaced were not the ones in the picture and those parts were never replaced by the new company, and the real problem didn't even involve anything close to what he claimed the problem was or the parts he claimed were the problem. Smoke and mirrors so reel you on his next claim...
His next claim...was that we needed a cleaning service and if we didn't do the cleaning and anything broke later, it wouldn't be covered by the warranty company. So of course we went with the cleaning for $350.
Based on the things pointed out to me by the second company (and me climbing in the attic to educate myself) , I don't believe Ron cleaned ANYTHING.
So according to Ron he ordered two parts and approved them through the warranty company (later admitted to me he never approved anything through the warrant company and was just going to eat the cost of those parts...YEAH RIGHT!!!).
Sooooo, when he was scheduled to come out, he got sick. The following week the tech that was supposed to come install the new parts quit, and then that same day Ron's company just quit the claim. The home warranty company had to reassign the claim and we had to start all over. But Ron had his $350....
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...
If your home warranty company assigns him, demand a different one ASAP!
Dont use this company...made an appointment for service between 12 - 4, they didnt show up until 6:30, then didnt have materials to do job. Said they would be back at 8:00 am to fix condensation line. They never showed up or called.
