Just wanted to take a minute to complement the workmanship and quality of work that Wyatt performed while fixing my air conditioner. Not only did he painstakingly crawl through every component, testing and re-testing each part to find the culprit. He kept me involved in the entire process, showing me picture by picture what was done. He could have easily performed a quick fix and left but he fixed everything right! This is a Quality employee with integrity. Russett hopefully you hold on to this guy for a long time!
Beyond Customer Service! Lost heating of our system and called Russett Southwest. Spoke with their service department. They were caring, prompt, and wanting to help. I was able to schedule a site visit with them and when Sean (service technician) came out he was both polite, professional, and great at his craft. I could tell he cared. While I watched him diagnose our outdoor condenser, Sean kept me updated on what he was finding and trouble-shooting in a way that I could understand. After identifying the problem and ordering the parts needs, Sean and Marc (another service technician) returned to help make the appropriate repairs. Incredible the skill-set demonstrated to find and fix our unit (saving us $$$$!). These two guys were amazing and I continued to see their passion in what they did, as well as an obvious continued care & respect to my wife and I. That type of customer service is something I have not experienced in a long time. It was refreshing and helped create a life-long customer. You can’t go wrong with this company. A sincere thank you to Sean, Marc, and the entire Russett family for going above and beyond in providing more than just a service, but also a wonderful experience!
I got quotes from 3 different HVAC companies and Russett was the least expensive for the same exact Lennox system as the others. Installation was on time and good work. My dad, who built houses in Tucson in the 70's and 80's said I went with a good company. And after the install, they sent a package with some nice coffee cups! Definitely recommend this long-time Tucson company for HVAC replacement!!
Hired to get furnace fixed. Wife said they spent 20 minutes and 80$ to inform me it was the circuit board and quoted 700$ to repair. I was out of town so told them to hold off. Came home and took a look myself. Did a few simple checks, ended up being a bad limiter switch which is 11$. Russet tech was either lying or doesnt know how to troubleshoot a furnace. Stay far away from this company.
Although I ultimately chose another company because of their extended warranty and maintenance plan, it was a tough call because Cody from Russett was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, gave me a very fair bid, not pushy at all, answered all my questions and had the estimate to me same day. Plus, they've been doing work in our community since the first house was built.
I am not a native English speaker. However, I feel compelled to leave my positive feedback for Russett Southwest. I have a rental house in Tucson. My tenant family was hoarders. They somehow broke both of upstairs/Lennox and downstairs/Trane fairly new AC systems, then left without paying the last month rent. I felt so miserable. My original upstairs AC installer was Rite way, who wants to charge me more than $1000 for just Freon leak diagnosis. When I called Lennox warranty department. They referred Russett to me as an alternative local Lennox service company. I am so lucky to have Noe @ Russett Southwest help me through the Lennox warranty process for both indoor and outdoor units. He took care of everything for me with a great price! For example, one of the job was to replace the outdoor motor. The technician was a professional. He managed to finished the job in 30 minutes. I got charged for only half hour of the rate without my presence. This is the AC company that you can trust in Tucson area!!!!! A+++++
The TLDR version? Sales doesn't know what install is doing; follow-up service is poor. Full story: I hired Russett to install a new dual stage HVAC system and the install was ok, but I've had two less than minor problems that would make me consider hiring another company. FIRST, the salesman included new, metal fabricated "skids" or rails for the system to sit on when installed on my roof. The installers said the rails would vibrate too much and used my old wooden ones. I was charged for the rails, but Russett never used them on my house and never deducted them from my bill. Suspicious - perhaps I paid for someone else's rails. SECOND, the Lennox wi-fi thermostat and app is terrible and always has trouble connecting, sometimes taking as long as two minutes of staring at my phone waiting, if it connects at all. I complained about this and they agreed to provide me a Nest thermostat (to replace my old Nest, which worked flawlessly with my old single stage a/c). We scheduled a time for the service tech to install the Nest. Stayed home from work, tech finally arrived, walked in with a single stage Nest thermostat (not dual, which was required, and which I literally still had the same one from my old unit) and then acted like it was our fault that he brought the wrong one. Told us he would have to come back. That was two months ago and we haven't heard from them since. So, all-in-all not a great experience.
Russett's quoted a slightly higher price than another company to replace both our 21 year old A/C and heating units. We went with them on a recommendation. The installation went great. Quick, efficient and very tidy. Both units are working extremely will. I highly recommend them.
Ac broke down and it was 95f inside..on a Sunday called Russett and with in minutes recived a call back from the tech. He was on his way. Very quickly arrived and fixed the issue! Great guy James was our tech and beyond happy to have the ac running again, he was very professional and knowledgeable. I would and will recommend Russett for all your heating and air conditioning needs!
They were very very professional and they cleaned up after themselves they answered all of my questions and they never even acted like it was a bother at all. In fact they welcomed the questions.
