Viking Air Inc

Viking Air performed a homeowners warranty Air Conditioner replacement. They conducted the work in a timely manner, and I have no issue with this company as a HVAC company. After their install, my roof began to leak during the recent rains and there was significant water damage to the master bedroom of my house. After much investigation it was determined by a Roofing company and an additional HVAC company that the cause of the leak was the seal around the new air conditioner. When I spoke to Viking Air about this, there was denial it could possibly be their fault, however they later admitted that the sealant used was faulty and caused the leak.

The reason for the one star review is the way Viking Air decided to handle the situation, which was to tell me to contact my homeowners insurance for repairs. The staff of Viking did not apologize, show an ounce of empathy or offer to help beyond telling me to contact my insurance company. The owner called to describe the process of repairs and he was the only person who actually made an apologetic statement. Ultimately damages have exceeded $8k thus far and cause my master bedroom to be unlivable for about a month now (repairs still ongoing). This could have been handled completely differently by the staff, which would have mitigated this review. The pictures I uploaded are a result of the water damage after some of the repairs. Water mitigation had to be performed for over a week to ensure follow on mold damage would not be an issue. Would recommend Blue Line Air Conditioning if you experience A/C issues.

Viking Air has provided the highest professional service. Their office personnel have always helpful, and attentive to our needs. Their techs have been very knowledgeable and have always provided quality service. We highly recommend this company and their employees. Our AC quit working late last night and needless to say that we were miserable! We called our home warranty company to schedule a repair. We wanted knowledgeable, professional, friendly service in an expeditious time frame and that is exactly what we received with Viking Air Inc.! Thank you Claire and Carlos for your friendly professional service. We were informed that we might have to wait up to 3 days for service but you took care of us in a couple hours. Cool air is once again being enjoyed in our home! Definitely would use again and highly recommend to others!

Had our AC go out in the middle of the night so I made a claim to our home warranty. They assigned the request to Viking Air Inc. who were able to squeeze me in the next afternoon and get my house cool again. Would definitely use them in again if needed. Alfred was very professional and knowledgeable explained what my a/c was doing and had it fixed in minutes he also gave me advice on some future expectations of my unit
