Have used Georges on multiple occasions over the last few years and the customer service and technician quality has gone downhill to the point of not using their service again. Its unfortunate because when Georges was managed by Pete they were best in class. After comparing prices they are by far the highest priced and only used them because we were in a pinch and no others were available with the AC completely out.

My AC froze up last October and we called a repairman from the AC contractor who installed the unit back in 2011. I will try not to mention their name too much in this review but will say that they are one of the largest in Northwest Arkansas. The repairman got up in my attic and took a bunch of parts off of my air handler and never replaced them. A bulb sensor was the main part. Needless to say, he rigged it to unfreeze and start working again....until a few weeks ago. Our compressor went out (probably because of the tech from Paschal's removing the sensor bulb). I called several different places and read several reviews. It was easy to decide after talking to Pete Warren at George's Refrigeration and AC that they actually cared and wanted to help me out. He sold me a brand new Trane unit and saved me an unbelievable amount of money. Marty, their technician came out and fixed the mess in my attic that Paschal had left behind. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me.There is no doubt, I will be giving all of my future business to George's. I highly recommend George's to others because they are honest, professional, and will save you a substantial amount of money. Thanks George's!

Poor service experience. I scheduled an appointment for a new AC/Heat installation for one of our properties.
*They did not call prior to the 9:30 appointment. (This was an empty house which was explained at the time of setting the appointment.)
*They did not show up or call to reschedule.
*I called two days later to inquire.
*Jody, at the frontdesk, rescheduled for me but argued that they DID show up and they "never call prior to arriving" to confirm. And then rudely asked, "Do you want the new appointment or not?" I declined her unprofessional offer.
*Video cameras show that they did not show up to the appointment despite Jody's claims.

George's replaced our AC system for a reasonable price and did the work within a few days of contacting them. Very fast and professional crew.
Unfortunately, the installation went bad and we ended up with water damage 2 months later. George's was fantastic in working with us! They were out to the house within a day and fixed the unit for free. They then reimbursed us for our insurance deductible. We are thankful that we chose George's because of their great customer service and friendly professionalism.

I highly recommend George's over any other HVAC company in the area. Not only were they able to replace my failed unit quickly, Holly went out of her way to communicate quickly via email AND over the phone several times with my home warranty company that just didn't seem to understand why my unit had failed.They are professional and truly look out for the customer. We realize we are not the only people without AC & have to wait our turn but after sitting in the heat for over a week we found that none of our messages had been passed on to management from the ladies at the front desk, only after going in person multiple times did we finally get an answer as to a time frame that they could actually come out or even if they had the correct parts that they needed! After waiting for multiple call backs that never happened and another in person visit we were finally given a time of 6:00 a.m. on a Saturday but guess what nobody ever bothered to show up nor call us! This is absolutely unacceptable! Its not hard to pick up a phone & keep people informed. I will make it my mission to spread the word to never use this company!

I have used George's several times over the last 10 years, and they are the only company I will call when it comes to maintenance and repair of our heat pump, furnace, ductwork, etc. The technicians will go out of their way to make sure they give the best possible service and limit the cost to the customer. The office staff is very helpful and polite, too.

I would recommend George's Refrigeration & Heating to anyone looking for service on their heating or cooling unit. The service tech Kevin did a fantastic job of repairing both heating and cooling units at my house. He was very professional and made sure my units worked properly. He worked diligently to repair the issues and never once tried to sell me a new unit (my system is 18 years old), like other local companies have tried in the past. He answered all my questions and concerns. I will be a loyal customer moving forward.

Had an entire heating and a/c system installed, David and his crew were top notch to deal with. Started with the removal of the old units and install of the new units and finished in one day. They also moved the pipes from my other unit and tested that unit also. Highly recommend them and the only company I will use in NWA.

George's had a reasonable price and excellent service in my HVAC purchase and installation. I love the thermostat - easy to program and it even gives me an accurate weather forecast. I couldn't be happier with the product and price. BUT if you want a check up on your unit, annual is two times the price. Once during AC months and another during heat. I didn't realize this and I think it is good to know.
