Shearer Supply Springdale

Kind of disappointed. 57 yrs old. I've done all my own work along with helping friends and family...for years. They are local, I am local.

1. I ask for a price and they always ask me if I have an account in a manner that tells me that if I don't have a contractor account, I'll pay dearly which seems to be the case. Makes me feel like they would rather I go to a bigbox store. Hire a specialist with patience that can deal with non-contractors.

2. I call looking for heavy guage drive cleat and I'm told theirs is 30 guage...28 is pretty cheesy but 30? If I can't hammer a drive cleat home without bending or rupturing it, it's not a drive cleat now is it?
I expect much better quality availability.

3. They had some expensive shovels, pick-mattock etc. Made in oklahoma. I paid around 60 for the pick mattock.
I go back months later and I don't see the tools anymore. Best pick mattock I've owned so I'll buy their other high quality tools even if they cost more. What happened to that line? I could sell the s out of it and I would. Great tools, the best. Gone?

OTR DRIVER here and they unloaded me 1 day early and the men on the dock were awesome. They were quick and very efficient besides friendly and professional!!!!! I have no problem coming here again to make deliveries 🚚
