METRIC HVAC

My review for now is just based on getting an estimate for a new AC installation and will be updated after the installation. Metric HVAC was very responsive to all my questions regarding my options for getting a new AC installed. The technician arrived on the early side of the 2 hour time frame given which is appreciated. Their estimate was the most reasonable of three companies I contacted so I accepted their bid. They have been great with communication leading up to the installation this week. Again, will update my review after the installation.

Stay with me on this:
I had another heating company I liked a lot, but they got purchased by another company. The tech *they" sent didn't tell me why my pilot light wouldn't stay on, merely that my options were to rebuild the whole thing or replace it with something new. Honestly, it didn't seem to me that he even *knew* why it didn't work.

A tech from Metric arrived as scheduled, preceded by an advance confirmation call by the office.
After poking and prodding for a minor amount of time, Hector told me which part was broken (flame sensor), and approximately how much it would cost to install, but noted that he couldn't readily find the part online.
When I looked, it turned out that the Williams company (who manufactured the direct-vent heater only 15 years ago) no longer makes the part and couldn't point me to any aftermarket supplier.

So I'd like to point out some things:

1. Liz (at the office) also searched for the part or another solution while I pursued other avenues.

2. Importantly, she got back to me with her results in a reasonable amount of time.

3. The diagnostic was $60, which is fairly inexpensive.

4. Liz made sure I knew that if I had them do any work the diagnostic would go toward the cost.

5. Liz offered to set up an estimate for installation of other solutions.

All in all, I'm impressed with the professionalism and honesty of this company and their representatives.
When I figure out what the hell I'm doing I'll be calling them first, and they already have a head start on any competition.

Looking to replace my 24-year-old Heater and AC unit. Researched a few local companies and Metric caught my attention with it being family owned, local and excellent reviews. Hector was awesome, no pressure, no up sell, laid out all my options. I went with a Compleat replacement, there installation was clean and better than the original system. I'll recommend and use Metric HVAC again.

I had my AC unit replaced by this company and the guys did an amazing job, very professional, clean and a good price. I highly recommend this company. Luis and his partner were fast and professional and completed the job on time. They respond to my house in 20 minutes.

Luis was amazing. He examined the heater issue, asked the right questions & listened to the answers. Then he worked his magic and had my heater working within 10 minutes and it hadn't worked in years! They didn't even charge me, who does that?
Liz in the office was so nice too. I'd recommend this company to anyone I know that needs heater service.

I rarely if ever leave reviews, but Hector and his team were exceptional. He gave me all the options and suggested a heat pump. I didn’t even know what that was. Turned out to be a great suggestion and now I have quiet, efficient and powerful heating and air. The installation was very professional and Hector made sure that everything was done cleanly. They did an excellent job on the installation of a new mini split. Pricing was competitive, communication was transparent and timely, the work was all quite professional. I'd certainly reach out to them first for any future needs.

I had my heater changed last week. I contacted Metric and since the beginning the comunicación was great. The install crew arrived on time and left everything nice and clean once they finish the installation. I will definitely recommend them!

Was able to very quickly schedule a repair for my AC, but unfortunately went with another servicer due to the urgency. Communication was very professional and there was no sales pitch to try to keep my business. Appreciate the good attitude and would recommend reaching out to them.

Fantastic company. Provided the best price, did quality work, showed up on time and got the job done on time, AC works beautifully, and when a small issue came up (not their fault) they even fixed it for me for free. Highly recommended.
