My AC unit was installed over 20 years ago, and I was under the impression that everything was installed as it read in my contract. I called to complain about my AC not cooling quickly enough in the living room, which had two vents installed. My home is less than 1100 square feet. Econo Air came out and said all the vents were working just fine, and it's probably due to no insulation because my home was so old. It totally made sense to me, and I can only assume they are professionals and they know what they're doing.
Beware! I'm in the middle of a remodel and upgrading the lighting in my home. The electrician asked why one of the vents in the living room wasn't connected. He said that they just left the duct up there and never connected it to the main system. That explains why my home wasn't cooling enough.
I called and asked them to come out and look at it. I understand that it's been 20 years since they installed it. But if they never did it the first time, they should come out and fix it. They sent out a technician to look at it; keep in mind they were trying to charge me $99 to have someone look at what could possibly be their mistake. Nonetheless, they agreed to hold the fee until they could assess the situation. The tech was awesome, by the way.
The result, they acknowledged that the vent was never connected to the system. However, they want to charge me $895 to connect it. They didn't admit they didn't connect it but admitted that it was never connected. How does that make sense?
I used this company for a repair as my hvac was not working properly. They did the repair and gave me a 1yr warranty roughly $3,000 which is quite high. No more than a month later my hvac malfunctions again so I call them to come fix it as I had a 1yr warranty and according to them the new repair was not covered. Instead they send me a sales rep to get me to buy a whole new system. Why didn't this get repaired the first time I paid for service vs me having to deal with a "non covered" issue. Buyers be aware!! They will trick you and it will cost you more regardless. I ended up having to buy a whole new system which was not purchased through them.
Recently Jared came to do regularly scheduled maintenance for my furnace per my maintenance contract with Econoair. He spent quality time, was detailed and thorough. I appreciated his detailed report and pictures as well as his explanation. Thank you Jared and Econoair. ~Amanda Simonson
Arrived early then expected which was great. Explained what they were doing and what the plan was so I could understand what was being done for the day. Overall , good experience. Can’t complain.
My father had a central ac and heat unit installed in 1994. I called for service because furnace not blowing hot air. Econo Air suggested replacing the whole unit at a cost of $12k+. I need to get some other estimates before considering in replacing a whole new furnace as this is quite an expense. Otherwise, Ricardo Lopez was polite, very helpful, and he called to let me know that he was on his way for the appt.
Econo Air is an outstanding company with reliable service. They are great about calling and texting reminders, so that the service time is is kept and completed as expected.
Jesse arrived on time, explained all performance checks as he completed them and replaced the filter. Very professional and communicated other service items that would be required when the system ages. Very positive experience!
I've been doing business with this company since they first started. From the original owners to their staff they now employ, they have been honest, provided maintenance for both A/C and heating, installed electrical panel, wired house, need I say more. I trust this company to do what is right and best for my family.
I am surprised that the yearly fee of $199.00 does not include a filter. I was told to order one from Amazon and have it here for their next visit in the summer and they would install it. I have their product and must pay this to keep the warranty in place. I was surprised that my 'free warranty' cost me $199/month.

The Sales and installation process were very easy. The outside wiring was all hidden and neatly done. The unit has worked great these last few weeks.
