SOCAL PH&AC was an absolute pleasure to work with. My heater just had a blown capacitor, but they gave me an appointment promptly and were really knowledgeable and friendly.

The best thing about the experience was that I'd just bought a new Nest thermostat (unrelated to the repair) and the technician gave me a bunch of free advice, along the lines of: move this wire here and attach it to the thermostat there. I could easily wire the thermostat afterwards myself, with a configuration which is more solid that the one Nest support had originally suggested.

I was looking to add some ductless mini split systems to my house. I first contacted socal on Yelp and responded promptly. We followed up with a phone call and then an appointment for a home inspection. tim came on time and after a thorough inspection, he recommended the mini splits. He came by a second day to sign paperwork and to schedule the install.

They guys who did the installation came on time and were very friendly and professional. They took extra care to cover up my furniture, wear shoe covers in the house, and cleaned up when they finished. Installation took about 6 hours. When they finished, they did a final walk through with me and explained how to clean and operate the units.

We're very happy with the units. We got the Mitsubishi 19 Series. We had 2 rooms that our central AC couldn't cool due to a lack of ductwork (room addition) and a flat roof (bedroom). The units are very quiet; we can watch tv or fall asleep with them on and we don't even notice.

Socal PH&AC is simply the best merchant I've dealt with on my extensive 'home improvements' based on yelp reviews. I first contacted them to do an inspection on my HVAC system in a place I moved into less than a year ago. Turns out it was between 33-45 years old. Ye Gads! I asked them to install a new system, and told them I'd like it done as soon as possible before the heat wave. In less than 2 weeks they did exactly that & I found the entire team beyond impressive. tim came out to inspect, demario came out to provide an estimate, and Edgar came out to install. Every one of these team members was incredibly professional (showing up exactly when they said they would), efficient, cheerful, polite, immediately responsive, and ethical. They worked very hard all day from 8-5:30 pm and cleaned up meticulously after themselves. I appreciated Mike's optimistic and cheerful attitude when there was a delay in getting a letter of approval to submit for a city permit from my HOA.
And of course, I can't forget tim who set up the appt. and who I dealt with throughout the process. I told him after the work was completed he was a wonderful part of a wonderful company, and that I wished every merchant I'd ever dealt with (from big corporations to small businesses) could take a field trip to SOcal PH&AC to observe how it treats its customers. They would have customers for life.

Tim was ON TIME, (holy cow) I immediately trusted him because he was very straight forward about the problem, educated me about my system, and he gave me a variety of options that I clearly understood. He's got a friendly demeanor and offered zero Bull-S#!T.
When he left, I felt really good because not only am I sure that my problem is resolved, but I have an understanding of how my system works, and how to maintain it. We even discussed some fun tweaks I can play with to direct all this water out to my Grey water system. The company that originally installed my AC unit has GHOSTED, so I'm really excited to have a buddy I trust who understands this stuff.Socal for the win!!

I could not have asked for a better experience than what I received from socal plumbing heating & AC. From the very beginning, the team was prompt and efficient in helping me diagnose the problem, obtain a quote, and book a technician. I was very impressed with the ease of this process and the consent professionalism as I worked with Sales, Scheduling, and the technician himself.

My technician was impressively knowledgeable about heating/AC systems and was able to give me a better understanding of my system, the issue at hand, and what to look out for in the future. I respect those who are passionate about what they do, as it radiates in their work toward their customers.

Cyrus is the man. After much wasted time dealing with unprofessional HVAC companies, I finally stumbled on Socal PHAC Cyrus came out the next day for an estimate to install a whole home media filter. He gave us a reasonable bid and came back the next day to install the unit.

The install was done professionally and he did a good job cleaning up (and dealing with our pesky puppy jumping on him whenever he walked by!). Our allergies immediately improved with the filter he installed and we were grateful to not have to wait to get it. He also offered to come back to replace the filter whenever it's needed. We'll take him up on that -- and have him check/maintain our complete system while he's at it.

Highly recommended. Cyrus is now our "HVAC guy."

Overall I cannot say enough great things about Timothy and Socal PH&AC. I started my renovation long distance from the east coast and was worried about getting ripped off or sold a bigger HVAC system than I needed. tim is honest, super professional and communicative. He walked me through the entire process, from buying the right product to the best method of installation, even dealing with some asbestos removal - all of this with me being out of town for the first few weeks of my renovation. He spoke directly with my contractor, keeping me in the loop the entire time so I didn't have to worry about what was happening. Not to mention his price was better than the two other companies I called. He TRULY went above and beyond. tim the man you are the best. CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH!

Such great service! Our heater stopped working abruptly sending me into a panic, as I have a three-year-old and a 10-month-old who I need to keep warm during the night (it's not like I can layer them with blankets and run a space heater while they sleep, not safe)! So many other companies couldn't even come out for several days, but the general manager of this company rerouted one of his workers Tim out same day. Tim helped me out with the quickfix! Great customer service, knowledgeable workers, amazingly supportive manager. Definitely keeping their information on hand. Highly recommended.
