Contacted Romano HVAC this morning requesting a diagnostic on two AC units, as well as some HVAC piping work. The Sales Manager, Juliano, was more concerned about why we were informed. I explained that I am the CEO of an industrial HVAC company with 60 years in business, and that our engineers have participated on the working groups that publish the industry standards. He kept insisting that we had spoken to another company when I explained to him that we are an educated and informed consumer. He further stated that he wanted to know precisely who his competition is so he knows how to "price" the work, meaning he is basing his estimate on the competition vs the work. He then added that they would charge us $89 to come out and diagnose the units, and then decide if they wanted to do business with us, and if we were "a good fit". It was a bizarre conversation, unprofessional, and raised several flags about the integrity and business practices of this company, despite having a few good reviews. Simply proceed with caution. We will not be using their service given this conversation.

He was on time and fixed the issue so quickly! He was referred by a friend and came the next day and got our HVAC up and running again!! Highly recommend!

A fuse blew on our AC unit and caused the HVAC system to short out Sunday night. I called Romano Hvac because of the 5 Star ratings across the board. I called Juliano at 6:30 am Monday morning and he answered the phone immediately. I explained our situation and asked if he could come out this morning. He was at my house at 10:30 am. He took a look for maybe 10 minutes and found the short and within the hour he was done. Juliano was friendly , approachable and Professional. Juliano wore coverings on his work boots that he put on in the house and took off when he went outside. If ever we need HVAC repair again, Romano Hvac is who we will call again.

I called because we have had trouble with our system for several years. We know we need a new system but explained we needed to limp it by for a year or two if possible. He sealed the leak, (we asked several other companies and they refused) filled with Freon and we are back in business. We know it’s not a permanent solution but I appreciated that he explained everything, didn’t try to push a new unit on us and knew his stuff. He tested everything. Would highly recommend this company! I will definitely go back when I need another service or I finally replace the unit with a new one.

I had a broken AC that wouldn’t blow cold air. Romano came out the same day and fixed the issue. He knows his stuff and is friendly! I will be using him again. I highly recommend him.

My Pioneer Mini Split system had stopped producing warm air, called Romano and he came the same day, he let me know when he would arrive and was on time. He identified the problem in about 15 minutes, told me the problem was low refridgerant, and said he replaced the refridgerant, but in less than 4 months the AC unit has quit again. When I called him today, he said "It probably needs to be re-charged with refridgerant again." When I asked if had checked for a leak he said he didn't vacuum test the unit for a leak, just re placed the refridgerant ( $108.00) plus the $75.00 service charge.
Now I know why he is always available to answer the phone, and can be here on short notice...NEVER AGAIN!!

I've had too many people want to just sell us a new unit. has a personality and will tell you what is going on as well.

Amazing service !! We were stuck on a hot day with no AC and Romano answered our call and was at our house in 20mins and in less than 30mins our AC was fixed !! Never going anywhere else for our AC needs.
