Mike was very thorough with his evaluation and explanation of the pros and cons of both the traditional hvac system and the ductless mini splits which we ultimately went with.
Mike and his crew were very respectful of our home as we gave them full access while we were at work. His crew, DJ and Pete were the consummate pros who truly enjoyed and took pride in their work.

Mike came over on a weekend when my AC shut off. He came over so fast and fixed the part quickly. We had AC right away. He is honest and didn't over charge me to come out on a weekend like all the other companies. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again.

We had a great experience with Mike. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. He took his time to explain everything about the new HVAC system and believe me, we had a lot of questions! He finished the job on time and every day he left the workplace clean. On top of that, his price was the best. We did our due diligence, asked for quotes from numerous contractors, and compared the proposed equipment and material. Mike's proposal was the best and he did a great job.

Mike is so wonderful. He helped us understand and plan for more than 14 Mitsubishi Mini-Splits in an old Victorian and Cottage all on the same property. We had several bids and Mike by far was the best choice. The splits he suggested were larger than the ones a competitor suggested and less expensive. Mike was efficient and timely with his installation and has been incredibly supportive and helpful after installation. We decided after installation to add the ability to operate and adjust the mini-splits from anywhere via an app on our phone. Since our property is rented as a vacation rental, this ability has been awesome, easily paying for itself. Guests occasionally leave them on when they leave and on very hot days I can turn them on and cool the homes before guests arrive. Mike came recommended to us for a HVAC repair when our AC went out during the hottest part of the year. He responded quickly, communicated clearly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, fixed our AC unit! We consider ourselves very lucky to be put in contact with him and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his services. After being stuck in our attic all morning, he even made time come back by in the afternoon to check on his work! We are already thinking about what we can have come back to do once it cools off. We HIGHLY recommend Mike Canonico's Heating and Air Cond.. Mike was able to work with our schedule and was very efficient with his time. He took care of everything, right down to installing a new thermostat inside. Our old system was 30+ years old and both the A/C and furnace were broken. He thoroughly and clearly explained the different systems available and the benefits of one over another in our two story home. He even climbed up in the attic to check the condition of our insulation (said it was excellent, not trying to over-sell). He came back a couple days after to check up on things and replace two ceiling registers, he let us know that the ones up there before were actually floor registers and were restricting air flow. Now I can stand anywhere in the house and feel the air swirling around me, it's truly amazing the difference. He also saved us $3,000 over a previous quote. Really!!!
