Robert, Pedro, and all of their technicians were all amazing, nice, and considerate. They respect your home and strive to keep it clean or cleaner than they found it. The job was done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality and they worked with us to get the best deal and maintenance plan. He told my husband he was thinking it would be $1500-$2500 so I was planning to move forward. Once he got off the roof it turned into $3200. That hurt! We let him know we would get back to him after discussing it. He told us to “put it on a credit card” we are not a credit using family. Anyways I felt fishy because he couldn’t tell my husband what exactly was wrong just that we needed an electronic overhaul. I decided to give an old coworker a call to come give me a second opinion because he used to do HVAC work. He fixed it in 10 minutes. It was just a small can that was bloated and needed to be changed out. He charged me $80 I understand that is a friend price and all companies need to make money. But this is just predatory. On a single income family. I had to speak out and urge others to get a second opinion before using this company. My ac works great now not even 24 hours later.
We renewed our VIP maintenance plan and Julian and Pedro came out to perform the summer maintenance. We had some issues with the AC not cooling down as well as it should, and they took the time to diagnose the issue. Our unit was low on refrigerant so they refilled it and sprayed stuff to plug any potential leaks and got the AC back to cooling the way it should.
Julian and Pedro were friendly, polite and courteous and once again we are happy with Greener Solutions' service and their team.

I was impressed and admittedly surprised with the exemplary service. Everything that was communicated, which including getting callbacks and techs reporting as stated was refreshing. The Sr. Service Tech (Bret Pollard) conducted an inspection of my A/C and relayed his conclusion, including explaining what he was noting along the way. Cory completed the job the following day with the A/C working accordingly.
My service man Carlos Rivera was punctual, very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He took care of cleaning my outdoor AC unit and replacing my indoor filter. My Mom’s 100 year old house had the original basement furnace red-tagged by PGE in November as a monoxide hazard. We knew the need to replace was coming but dreaded it just the same. It was a 6 foot tall beast with about 7 big asbestos-wrapped ducts off the top and no forced air, just a big flame that gobbled natural gas. There was no central air in her 2-story 4000 sq ft house. All contractors we asked for quotes all said the same thing, including Greener Solutions: “Wow, never seen anything like that before”. Based on the system proposed, we selected Greener as they seemed the most experienced and had a plan. Over about 10 day period, they removed the old furnace (requiring it to be sawed into multiple pieces including a cast iron heat exchanger), did the abatement, installed an efficient full HVAC system tied into existing ductwork with custom plenum and in-line dampers for control of air distribution. It even has a UV light air sanitizer just downwind from the airfilter element at the intake. A full brush vacuum duct cleaning was done as part of the quote, and boy was it needed with 100 years of dust and dirt in them. It would have taken them less time, but had to wait a few days due to weather and having to get a larger AC condenser outside. They moved quickly on the furnace to start and Mom was without a furnace for only 2 days. The workmanship and skill of installers Jesse, Zach and Nick was on full display and it was impressive to see them and owner Hayden problem solve as they went along to get this unique and difficult install done. Greener had great communication at each step with Priscilla and Amy in the office keeping us informed and making sure we knew what to expect with scheduling. Bret Pollard was our initial sales contact who presented the quote, and while we knew this would be a significant investment in the house and there’s always concern in your mind as to whether this is the right contractor, Bret is super knowledgeable and authentic and that helped us select Greener. Hayden has assembled a skilled, motivated, dependable, and efficient team that I feel all pull together to do a quality job. As someone who ran a small business for 35 years, I know how hard it can be to develop that kind of team. I can recommend Greener Solutions without reservation.
