Aire Serv just removed our old ducted central heat and air system and installed a mini split system in our house. Brent the sales rep was very responsive and a pleasure to work with, the 4 men that installed the units Aaron, Austin, Ignacio, and Micah were all very respectful not only to us, our pets, and our home but to each other as well. They were here 4 days installing the system. They worked 4 full days and worked very well with each other. We have not used our system yet other than testing it, the weather has been mild. I'm confident that the system was installed correctly and that if there are any problems they will be there to make it right. Wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them. I did have 4 other estimates and Air-serv was not the cheapest but out of the 4 they were the only one I felt confident would do the job and do it right.

However, I feel my angered 1 star was wrong and I overreacted. The guys that came out Monday were fantastic. There was a bad pump and the guys drove from my house to Stockton (about 40 miles) came back and got the job finished. Fantastic efforts all around. Everything is working great. Would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend to others. Sometimes stuff like this happens. A defective part and the quality of the install should not be misinterpreted and I'm here to correct that.
Original review: Just spent eight thousand dollars on 2 split A/C units. First off, the guys who did the install were nice. Second thing is they did not finish when they had anticipated. It took an extra 4 hours. That had to replace faulty fuses that required a meetup with another worker or going to the hardware store...then one of the units failed which required additional work. Now it's been 36 hours and one of the AC units is malfunctioning, turning on and off, over and over, beeping every 10 seconds, resulting in it being unusable. Maybe you can stand incessant beeping over and over but I can't. I've contacted the sales person, requesting that the team return again and continue with the AC units until it does not malfunction. All in all, pretty disappointed. I will not recommend aireserv to other people.
Jeff was the best. He went above and beyond with helping us to figure out our new thermostat after he installed it. He also helped me to sync my iPhone with the two thermostats that we now have. I would highly recommend Jeff.
Called for service they stated it would be $150 for a diagnosis and that would be waved with the repair. I was told I would get an estimate of repair cost before repairs would be preformed so I could chose to pay the diagnostic fee or the repair fee. Service Technician preformed repairs without my consent or consultation. I get a $315 bill for replacement of 40 amp fuses. No permission requested, nothing. Those fuses cost less than $8 at the local hardware store and take less than 5 minutes to replace. They offered to remove the fuses and wave the charges which was accepted. While their services were not professional, the resolution to the issue was professional. I felt they were taking advantage of us marking up a part nearly 4000% the retail cost and not asking consent or providing an estimate of cost. I would have been happy to pay the diagnostic fee and replace them myself.
Exceptionally personable, responsive, professional, communicative, and reliable service. Aire Serv has the organizational acumen, people power, skilled employees and technicians, and values necessary to get big jobs done well and quickly. We went from making an inquiry to getting a professional designer out to make recommendations to having a contract and then having the first round of work done on the contract within a month. Aire Serv's installation techs removed all of our old equipment and hauled it away too. We now have a βspace ageβ minisplit system that exceeds our previous A/C many fold in efficiency, and at a reasonable price! Technicians were personable, collegial with each other, kind and genuinely interested in our family, and functioned harmoniously to get things done with an uplifting attitude. They not only tolerated our many quirky pets but took time to get to know them, even calling our dogs by name. This is the best of the best and the gold standard for contract service in the Mother Lode region! πΏππππΒ πππ!

Long Review - My wife and I bought a house which had sat vacant for over a year. The ac wasnt working in our house or the granny flat. Aireserv scheduled us within 5 days. Thank you Heather. The tech, Jeff W., was here on time. Very professional. He first reviewed the main house. Jeff went through the companies point by point inspection. I had two primary issues. Our thermostat was out/dead. I also had some electrical problems which he tightened up getting power to the ac unit. He then cleaned some of the filters and screens bith inside and out that needed cleaning. Jeff had my ac fixed and running within an hour. Jeff tightened up everything while my house was cooling. Very efficient.
Next was the granny flat/detached apartment. He diagnosed the 2nd unit, fixed the fan which wasnt turning (i think a compressor was out), and put a new filter in. In less than an hour he had fixed a second ac unit, and that had cooled off before we left.
Third, I asked him to look at a split unit. The split unit was nearly 20 years old, missing the remote, and not blowing cold air. Rather than waste time/money, he gave me reasonable solutions. Fixing it, replacing it, or places to look if i wanted to find alternative solutions on my own.
My short review says it all. Ask for Jeff. The price was more than affordable. There was no upsale on a new unit, or hustle trying to get me something i didnt need. Im glad i found this company and will be using them from here on out.
BTW - My house is at 74 degrees at the moment. Its ove 100 outside. I changed the thermostat back up to 78. But from no ac to this is how this should work. Great company, great service.
Maintenance check on my a/c before the summer heat kicks in. Techs were on-time and did a thorough inspection with a few necessary adjustments. I can only recommend that anyone requiring a seasonal maintenance check do so well in advance - you don't want to be without heat or a/c when it is most needed - I lived that brutal experience last summer! Now I feel at ease I can make it thru the heat on the horizon - and that is a big relief!! πππ
Walid was great as always. He is very thorough and takes pictures so I don't have to go into the attic. He tells you about new products that can be added to the unit but doesn't try to push you into buying them like he is only making a commission. Thanks AireServ for keeping my unit running strong for 16 years.
When our air conditioner went out, Aireserve had a technician to our home within, I believe it was, 48 hrs. They were most kind over the phone and willing to help out in any way they could. Jason Beck was our Aireserve technician the first day and today. He came to our house on two separate service appts and was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, kind, was willing to explain details to me every step of the way, and he went above and beyond for our service. Aireserve clearly hired one the best and has won our trust on all future HVAC service appts. Thank you Jason and Aireserve for your fantastic service.
The technician, Bruce arrived at time promised. He was through and knowledgeable and very friendly. We added a new thermostat at our request. I would definitely recommend.
