I would recommend Accuracy heating and cooling if you ever need any of your heating or cooling done My furnace broke down in the middle of the night and Ronnie the owner of the company came over and addressed the problem made sure that I had some kind of heat source and set up a appointment to remove and install a new furnace. The install went smoothly they had great customer service skills they were able to answer all my questions and concerns.
Ronnie has done more than 1 job on my house. Each time was a success. Response time is prompt and work left looking professional. This time was a furnace and AC install and very happy with the end result. I recommend giving Accuracy a call.
Run, do not give Accuracy your business. Completely ghosted us after install and they had our money. I can’t say anything positive about Accuracy except Ronnie is a good salesperson and boy did he sell us a bill of goods. Sorry guys, that’s just the way it happened.
Accuracy installed an AC last June. They charged half the money up front for a Lennox but in the end installed a Goodman after rescheduling 3 times. We were told we would get a full home vent cleaning and an Ecobee thermostat for the inconvenience – neither happened. Ronnie told us that our electrical box wasn’t big enough and ended up moving breakers around. Our handy man noted numerous issues with the install, and I shared them with Ronnie. He got really upset and agreed to repair a few of them but said our handy man isn’t an HVAC person so didn’t know what he was talking about. I continued to call Ronnie numerous times to get this resolved but he ghosted us. After the install, we had breakers tripping and needed to hire an electrician to fix our electrical. All the fixes were from them moving things around and our box doesn’t need to be increased per the licensed electrician.
Now fast forward a year later, I had a reputable HVAC company come out to the clean and service the unit and learned that the install by Accuracy was completely wrong, and the unit was not up to code. So far, I’ve paid over $2,000 to have it uninstalled and reinstalled. Now I’m looking at another $1,000+ to determine why the unit isn’t cooling. Accuracy is a very shady company and completely screwed us over. So far $8,200 and counting….
Our heating went out on a Wednesday morning. I researched options, and selected Accuracy Heating and Cooling based on their responsiveness, price and the knowledge of the owner Ronnie. Ronnie was able to install the furnace the very next day.
The installation team was professional, punctual, and completed all the work promised. One area I had as concern, was the fact that the new unit needed to be vented out the side of the house. Accuracy did a stellar job, cutting through the brick, and sealing the new hole. The work was A+ quality.
I have had a very positive experience with the Accuracy team.
UPDATE (5/4/2022): After leaving this review and filing a complaint with the BBB, Accuracy was quick to come out and fix the issues that had been causing me grief for the last few months. I am updating the review from 2 stars to 3 stars. While I had a mediocre experience working with this company, I do believe they mean well and they do have very competitive pricing, so it was worth it in the end to save the extra money. I would recommend others to work with them, but I would also make sure to be wary of submitting your final payment until after the inspection has passed.
Feedback to the company: Please be more proactive in your communication with customers. Keep them informed of what is happening if there are any issues with their installation. Even calling to say "no update" still counts as updating them. I would also recommend inspecting every completed job for quality of work to ensure the work is complete to company standards. Even the city inspector can miss things, so inspecting yourself will help avoid issues like I had this time around.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was a hard lesson for me to learn about "you get what you pay for". Ronnie, the owner, was extremely responsive when I initially called them and quoted me a price over the phone that was thousands of dollars cheaper than every other company I called. I booked and the AC and furnace were installed quickly. My biggest mistake was paying them the second half of the agreed upon price before the city passed the inspection.
Now, 11 MONTHS LATER, I am still waiting on this company to finalize the installation so I can pass my inspection. I have called this company over 40 times in the last 9 months while trying to get them out to finish the work. They continually promise to be out ASAP, and just never call back or show up. They say the same thing each time I call them. On top of them not coming out in a timely manner to finish the work they have promised to complete, the installation process has been incorrect from the start.
1. They installed the WRONG FURNACE. I paid for a 90,000 BTU furnace, and they installed one that was 70,000 BTU "without noticing". I likely would not have noticed, until the city inspector came out and notified me. After roughly 8 months, they were finally able to install the correct one. This was blamed on supply chain issues, which is inconvenient for me, but also somewhat understandable due to Covid.
2. They did not attach a drain to the AC condenser. This means that water was spewing out of my AC unit and onto my basement floor without my knowledge, until I found black mold in my basement. After weeks of calling them, and Ronnie promising to have someone come look at it, Ronnie finally refunded me $500 for me to fix the issue myself. No one ever came out to inspect the damages other than me sending Ronnie pictures.
3. They told me the permit expired after 1 year, and that the work would be done well before that. I have just spoken to the City of Arvada Permitting Department, and they informed me the permit expired after 6 months, and that I have to now get it extended to have the work completed. This was free for me to do, but again, inconvenient that I had to take measures into my own hands.
4. Other red flags with this company include poor communication, sloppy installation work, and a lack of accountability or caring about a customer after they have collected their final payment.
If you do decide to go with Accuracy, be sure that you don't pay your final payment until after you completely pass inspection. I am keeping it at 2 stars instead of 1 because of their initial price only.
My furnace blower failed on December 31st. I scrambled on New Years Day to find someone to help. A friend referred us to Accuracy and I couldn’t be happier. Ronnie was able to make it to Aurora by Sunday, January 2nd, diagnosed the problem and found parts to get heat back in our house by that evening. He called the next day to make sure everything was good, too. Would definitely call again!
This review is not about the quality of their work. They never actually came over, so I can't say whether or not they do a good job. This review stems from the frustration that I have with the fact that this company only has one furnace tech. I booked a tune up and cleaning of my furnace with them two weeks ago. They gave me the standard four hour window of when they would come by. I get a phone call last week the day before they were supposed to come over from the tech who said that he was overbooked and had to reschedule for a week later. Today the morning of when they were supposed to arrive I supposedly received a phone call from the girl who schedules saying that the tech was sick and they would have to reschedule.
I'm not unreasonable, this is fine, I am upset though that they have canceled and rescheduled twice in two weeks. I also am frustrated that I was initially told I would need a certification that would cost $150 instead of the tune-up and servicing fee of $38. When I found out later after speaking to the tech that this is only a 2-year-old furnace that would not require certification.
I was also frustrated that the scheduling girl felt that just leaving a message and never actually speaking with me would suffice as a canceled appointment.
If you care about quality customer service, I would not recommend using this company.
Accuracy replaced my 20+ year old furnace and AC with a new Lennox. Ronnie gave me a good price and was able to deliver both with a professional installation within 2 days. Very pleased overall.
I just had an entire new Trane a/c system installed by Accuracy Heating and Cooling on Monday, September 16, 2018. I was contacted by Ronnie, the owner of the company, mere seconds after putting my information into Angie's list to get quotes on a new system. I had just bought a new condo and my air conditioning was not working properly. I got a quote from another hvac company for an exorbitant amount of money. I was prepared to pay for it because it was so hot and I was under the impression that there was no way around this. I was also told by that company that I would probably have to wait about 8 weeks for them to get the proper equipment. Ronnie told me he was able to come assess the situation the very next day, first thing in the morning. The quote I received from Ronnie was 10 thousand dollars less than what I was prepared to pay the other company. He also said he could complete the installation after the weekend, on Monday. My house is finally cool and I have a brand new Trane system with a 3 year labor and 10 year parts warranty, thanks to Ronnie and his company. His crew was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took the time to explain the problem and how they were fixing it. They also went above and beyond my expectations by cleaning up everything in my house. I am very grateful to have found Accuracy Heating and Cooling and Ronnie for my HVAC needs. I absolutely recommend them for anyone who is skeptical about being over charged by a large company and concerned about the quality of work recieved. Thank you Ronnie and your crew for everything!
