The response was terrific. They provided us with a very reasonable quote to replace out hot water heater with a tankless system and had it installed within 24 hours of our approval of the quote. The installers were professional and did a great job.

Izzie, the technician, was wonderful! He was conscientious about keeping the work area clean, very professional and explained in detail what the problem is, how to resolve it, and options. I appreciate his diligence and if necessary, use this company again for my cooling needs.

Controlling Systems installed 3 Mitsubishi ductless mini splits in our house to help with the hearing and cooling of our upper level. Gemini, Roman, Domick, Donny and Rudy were all great! They were quick and efficient. Gemini was super friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the process and working of the systems thoroughly and answered all my questions. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

Professional, efficient, and extremely considerate of our needs when our water heater went out in the middle of one of the coldest days of the year. Within 24 hours we had an appointment and a tankless water heater installed next day. Trust Controlling Systems not only with our water heater maintenance but also all of our HVAC, AC, heating and thermostat needs going forward.

I cannot recommend Controlling Systems, unfortunately. I got a new furnace and AC unit installed in April 2021, and it wasn't a smooth process; the inspections failed at least twice, and after a month the exterior seal completely melted off. I altered them to a weird sound I started to hear, and they brushed it off. I finally got a different company to come take a look and we found not one but TWO pieces of metal scrap inside of the fan! A small one I could maybe understand, but not the bigger one which measures 3x8 inches! I will not be using them for any future projects. They also mistakingly sent me another customer's invoice which detailed:

"Condensation line to unit was not
hooked up properly this is why the unit
was leaking into the attic there is no
visible damage done to the drywall with
a little water did come out should dry
up by the end of the day."

I reached out to Controlling Systems to complete my condensing unit and furnace install through an energy efficiency loan which they are certified through Xcel Energy for. I got multiple quotes for standard efficiency and high efficiency equipment. Their quote was very reasonable for the high performance equipment when compared to the other high performance quotes I received. Their team installing was very knowledgable and professional. I was very impressed by their craftmanship. Also, it's a family owned business which is a plus.

We've been working with Controlling Systems with all aspects of HVAC in our home for over 8 years. Everyone we've worked with has been friendly and patient, answering all of our questions clearly. They've been consistently reliable, helpful, and fast, and we recommend them to all of our friends!

I have used this company across multiple residents. I have used them for install of AC units and swamp coolers. I have also used them to maintain the units I purchased. They have always been customer focused, friendly, and cost competitive.

Had an AC unit and new thermostat installed. Professional, helpful, communicative. The technician went over all the different pieces with me, explained maintenance and troubleshooting, and answered my questions. Would recommend or hire again in the future. :)

Tried to get a quote for a 18k btu mini split in my garage. Employee told me it would not be enough to heat my 500 square foot garage even though the manufacturer clearly states that it is enough. Employee was argumentative, unprofessional and rude. He basically just walked right out and said if that is what you want we will just install it with a huge attitude. Who knows if I will ever get the quote. I will just take my business elsewhere where they understand how mini splits work.
