Carlos came out to get my AC going. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable! He explained the issues to me in a manner I could understand and had my air running again in no time. My AC unit is extremely old and hopefully I can replace it this summer. I really appreciate having it running so I have time to figure out financing. Thank you again Carlos!!!!!!

I worked with Tommy and Carlos who both were extremely professional when replacing an A/C, Furnace and water heater. Tommy was not pushy and sold me on an appropriate system that was my best bang for the buck. They turned the job around in 24 hours. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I have problem with my A/C unit and I was calling different companies and no one wants to do it because in my building there is no access to the roof. I called Colorado Discount and they sent Jordan. Jordan and all the team that came I don't have all the names, Starting with Will when I called, Tony, Tommy, Carlos and all the guys that came to help, Thank you. They replaced my full unit, inside and outside the building, sensor and controller. I am really happy with my A/C now and I really recommend them.

Tommy and his team were amazing! I was in a need of a new A/C unit. Tommy came out, diagnosed the problem and even offered to talk to my home owner warranty company. They were on time, professional and made the process so easy. I highly recommend this company!

Tommy at Colorado discount is a great guy—friendly, professional, competent, and he does terrific work! He came up with a great solution for a major problem with our house for a very reasonable price, and in the process taught me a lot that is already helping with some other home projects. He listens, seems to genuinely care, and clearly takes pride in helping people.

We were having issues with low flow from our furnace, and constant dust problems. When we hired another company to come out and clean our ducts, we were told the problem was we had ZERO air returns in the house. ?! Apparently whoever flipped the house just walled over all the returns. Naturally, we had no pressure, and the only air that was getting into our furnace was coming from cracks in the old system—blowing dust from inside the walls and crawlspace through our house.

Some people, right?

Anyway, the company we called to clean our ducts couldn’t do anything about it. I called Applewood plumbing, they said they would not do anything that would involve cutting holes in the house or installing actual ducts.

We called THREE other companies, one of which sent a couple of guys who reeked of cigarettes. They seemed very willing to knock some holes in the walls, but didn’t inspire confidence. Another company seemed more competent, but also wanted to cut into multiple walls. When we decided to move forward with the project, that company ghosted us for three months, ignoring several phone calls.

But then I found Colorado discount, and Tommy came up with a great solution. He was human, friendly, and professional. After really listening to the problem and analyzing our situation, he located one large floor return in a central hall instead of several smaller wall returns. This gave us great Airflow, at a much lower price, and with far less construction worries. It’s a small house, and the solution was right for the size of our home and our budget.

Tommy also had some other great tips about ways to run our system for the best efficiency, and cleanliness, and added an extra wire to the system, so we could run our fan without heat, something we’ve never been able to do.

In the process, we chatted about other goals for my house, and he was able to give me a couple of referrals to other professionals in the business who could help, including a terrific electrician with great prices.

I’m super grateful that I called Colorado Discount Heating And, Cooley, and I will continue to use them.

We did have one problem that arose during the install of the new duct for the new air return. Immediately after installing the new return, we had a duct cleaner, come out to clean the supply side, but he didn’t touch the return site since it was brand new, and Tommy had a shirt as he would have his guys clean out the blower chamber when they added the new return.

Imagine my upset when the house continued to smell of dust, and I inspected the return side to discover that one of the technicians—who I had watched absent mindedly kick about a cup of crawl-space dirt into the furnace system—failed to clean it out, even though he said at the time he would. Since it was a brand new system, I was obviously very upset by this oversight. That is the sort of thing that could’ve caused me to leave a very poor review, despite all of Tommy‘s awesome efforts.

However, when I called Colorado discount to tell them about the problem, they had a technician out the following business day. He completely cleaned out the entire system to fix the problem at no cost. I would have been satisfied if he had just vacuumed out the blower chamber. But since it had already been running and moving through, they wanted us to be happy with the best air quality. We now have great air pressure in our house, no more crawl space dust, and a professional company. We know we can call whenever we have HVAC problems!

Easy and fast scheduling of appointment. The technician, Carlos, was prompt and courteous. He explained system components and reviewed performance data. Very easy to talk with and explained in layman's terms. Company is rated A+ with BBB. I will have them back for seasonal service and any maintenance issue

I had an amazing experience with this company! Ryan’s experience, expertise, and kindness shows in all of the work that he performed. I definitely recommend this business!

I used heating and cooling for a hot water issue (which turned into a whole thing) and they sent out Carlos who was on time, every time, I had to use him several time because this fix lead to this and that fix lead to that…if you use Englewood H&C I *highly* suggest not only them but to ASK for Carlos. He did a wonderful job. I know nothing about plumbing but he had to replace this pipe system (in picture) and it’s so clean, so nice - I’m very impressed with his work. He was more than happy to explain everything that he was doing and showing me all the tools and products he used, so he’s very happy to inform you and definitely 100% knows what he’s doing. He’s very professional and friendly, i enjoyed having him! He had to saw into my wall so there was a nice mess on the floor 😊 and he cleaned and vacuumed the whole area - I didn’t even need to vacuum after - which is very nice. Highly recommend!

Where do I start? WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! If I could give negative stars I absolutely would (1) We have three giant holes in our drywall (2) They used a dull drill bit to drill the hole in the exterior of our home, the caulk had to be re-done (3) They left wire and sharp scrap metal in our grass, we have dogs, could have cut their feet to shreds (4) Their technician installing the furnace took a personal call for 75 minutes the first day (5) Because of this personal call, he had electrical wires laying on the exhaust pipe which burnt the wires so bad they had to be spliced and re-done. They said this "wasn't a big deal", undermining the huge electrical fire risk they created (6) The furnace AND AC didn't work, they came to our house NINE times with SIX different technicians. I have a full time job and so does my husband, imagine the time I had to take away from work... (7) Our AC unit is not facing the right direction in our backyard, the logo faces the wrong direction making all of the wiring even more unsightly (8) Our AC unit does not pass code, it needs to be 12" from the house and it is not (9) They told me on multiple occasions I had the wrong appointment time - NO, they did and covered it up - they knew me on a first name basis I had to call so many times (10) The electrician did not bring back extra breaker slots like he promised. In summary, this was one of the worst experiences of my life - we saved for a while to make this upgrade and instead of it being exciting, it was a NIGHTMARE. Again, don't use Colorado Discount Heating & Cooling. We are spoiled for choices so pick a different company. When we brought all of these issues to Brendan, the owner, he was dismissive, rude, ignored phone calls, and didn't address anything. He said he is "having a bad time right now" (because the owners are fighting and split ways, or that's what Sal told us, and they are struggling due to covid) and I am sensitive to anyone's problems, absolutely, but we have our own too. That does not excuse horrible service for a job paid in full. The proof is in the pictures - take a look for yourself.

Our furnace and AC went out late on a Saturday night and we found Colorado Discount Heating and Cooling online. Got an appointment scheduled and Jay was able to come Sunday and diagnose the problem and provide information on a new unit. I then worked with Will to get the quote together and he fought for our business and got us a good deal and scheduled ASAP. Tony and Collin came to install on Tuesday and did a fantastic job and wrapped it up in no time. AC is back up in running in 3 days!

*Edit - Carlos came out to replace 2 water shutoff valves for us and did it quickly and explained what he was doing when needed. Confirmed that our air filters were the issue with our furnace stopping while the thermostat still called for heat. Very professional, personable and a pleasure to work with.
