Mitchell Heating and Cooling - Denver/Northern Colorado

Technician tore out unit for a warranty call. During this time he smacked into our gas line which is counterstrike in the wall and is now kinked. During the reinstall of the unit. He just reused old flex duct connectors that he cut and just glued them back together. Improperly hooked up the gas line and put no sediment drip trap on there. There is a leak coming from the refrigerate line filter. Duct glue is all over the place. Our unit is more dirty then when first installed. We found wire nuts and screws laying all over the place and PVC shavings everywhere. There is a problem with the venting as it is making a popping noise whenever it is turned on. I would love to have a supervisor reach out to have these issues corrected.

When I scheduled the visit I asked if they cleaned the ac units as part of the maintenance. I was told yes on the phone while booking and yes by the contractor at the house. It is my own fault that I did not check it before he left. But the contractor told me how much he cleaned off the ac units. I checked today and nothing was cleaned. Still, hair, cotton normal build up one the coils and still the same dirt and trash sitting at the bottom of each unit. Would not recommend using this company. I should have looked at the quality before my original rating post. This is why I have edited it.

Very friendly and accommodating. Seemed thorough. My complaint is they serviced my AC unit on June 27th and it froze twice by August 10th and their “warranty” is only 30 days. I religiously change my filters and do not keep the AC cooler than the recommended 68 degrees so am “doing everything right”. Frustrating that they won’t assist and now I’m SOL because $150 is a lot of money to pay twice for the same thing in 6 weeks. Would use someone with better customer support. I can understand if it was 6 months down the road, but 6 weeks… no.

Had a very great experience with Mitchell heating and Air. Came to my house installed a brand new AC and furnace . Service tech's we're very professional, installation with no problems. New furnace works excellent and AC freezes the house out. Would recommend this company to any of my friends or family. Would definitely use Mitchell heating and Air for any of my HVAC needs.

No other company could assess & fix the problem with my home heating system. Collin was on time, professional and got the job done the first time. Mitchell is the only heating company I'll use going forward. Keep up the good work!
