I had a furnace replaced by Southglenn Heating and had an excellent experience. They were very competitive with their pricing, no pressure, timely, and they were extremely thorough — making sure everything was done correctly and neatly. Shawn and Dawn are wonderful and I highly recommend this family-owned business.
I love this company and have met everyone in the family over the years - for repairs as well as new combi boiler/hot water heater in one house, new swamp cooler in another house, plus all the maintenance. Trustworthy, knowledgeable. I recommend them all the time.
Southglenn heating installed an Armstrong pro series heat pump and air conditioner in our newly built carriage house approximately two years ago. They did not install a back up heater. This caused the water pipe to burst December 22 when we were out of town for Christmas and the New Year. The guest house and garage were flooded for two weeks. The damage is horrendous. My husband's classic cars were affected. The entire garage has to be torn out and redone. The wood floor in the guest quarters above, dry wall, and bathroom Corian has to be torn out. The furniture in the guest quarters has been put into a container. We have since learned from Hytek Air Systems in Centennial that Armstrong pro water pumps do not work in temperatures below 13 Fahrenheit. Jake, from Southglenn Heating, who sold the system to our General Contractor and Shawn, from Southglenn Heating who installed the system, should have informed us and we would have gladly purchased the back up for our beautiful and costly carriage house. These two brothers did not do so--and now they are disavowing all responsibility for the destruction their negligence has caused. CAVEAT EMPTOR when approaching the incompetents at Southglenn heating. Better still, do not deal with them at all. Mary Schaeffer Conroy and Tom Conroy Southglenn replied, saying they had told us throughout the build that they recommended backup heating. This is not true. Another heating company who came to advise us after the flood, 17 January 2023, showed us that there is no room between the trusses of the attic where the heat pump is located to install a backup heating unit. The advising company also said the insulation was put over the heat pump incorrectly. We are now going with electric baseboards for backup heating.
Highly recommend Southglenn heating! Family owned and operated! Will use them again in the future!! They are fast and friendly, fair in their pricing! Awesome customer service! Shawn changed out my water heater. Reliable and reasonable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
My wife and I were very impressed with the professionalism of this company and their technician. The technician was very mindful of COVID-19 distancing and other precautions and very courteous which made my wife comfortable. Furthermore, he was able to identify the problem with our AC and Heating quickly and had the system up and running in short order. I will highly recommend to all my friends and family and if we have any issues in the future they will have our business.
We had our water heater replaced this evening. Three trucks pulled up in front of our house and four representatives entered our house. The service representatives were not wearing face masks or gloves When my husband inquired about that they said they did not have any. Unfortunately, we did allow them to complete the job. We have always been pleased with there work. What I am disappointed in is myself for not asking them to leave until they had face masks and gloves. I should have asked for fewer workers to enter our home. We have a 91 year old, 71 year old and 67 year old living in this house. Southglenn Heating and Air Conditioning should also provide recommended gear for their employees during this time of COVID19.
I cannot say enough to compliment this company. I can tell they are family owned and care about reputations. Until Southglenn I had been through a few HVAC companies that were so dishonest. Shawn was very professional and solved the problems the other two created, from a horrible install and bending pipes, etc... I will use this company from now on.
I have been using this company for around 25 years. The company and the people that work there truly define the word "professional". They have done everything form yearly service of heaters to installing heating in a detached building to installing a very LARGE ceramic kiln and everything is still in good working order. these folks know what they are doing and do it with a smile.
I would highly recommend this company for AC repair. Our family's experience with them was AMAZING! They were professional and helpful and explained everything in great detail. They also went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. I will use them exclusively from now on for any heating or AC need.
Working with Southglenn has been one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. Knowledgeable, professional, and timely I have 0 complaints and my AC has been running beautifully for the past 3 months.
