Derek and his sons replaced my 1800's furnace with a new oil burning furnace/hot water heater combo. They tied into my old cast iron steam radiators and updated the valves on those. I was grateful that they completed the job in the time frame promised since I was without heat in December. This was a very challenging installation but everything works really well...I am so happy to have an efficient and reliable furnace for the cold winter ahead! We can't recommend Reutter Mechanical enough. Our family was looking to do some major HVAC upgrades to our 100-year-old house, and of all the HVAC folks we talked to, Derek was the most responsive. His estimate was thorough, thoughtful, and fairly priced as well.

One of our family's goals is to minimize, and eventually eliminate, the use of fossil fuels in our home. When I asked Derek about doing a hybrid heat pump hot water heater, he took the time to explain how it might work for our house. For us, it was a no-brainer and we were happy to hear Derek's professional opinion on the right equipment for our needs.

When it came time to do the work, Derek was communicative and professional. He arrived on time, communicated next steps, and left our basement cleaner than it had been before he started work! Our new boiler and water heater are already saving us money, and our house is much more comfortable. (In fact, the water heater works much better than our old, oil-fueled one.) We'll be calling Derek next year so we can get mini split heat pumps for sure.

Derek has been amazing, not only has he fixed our old fuenance in the past on short notice and after hours in an emergency but he recently just installed a new boiler for us. This job only took him about a day and half to complete and then the system runs great! He is responsive and punctual. I will never use anyone else for our HVAC needs as long as he is in business. I cannot reccomend him enough.
