Courteous and caring staff for me as a new customer. I think it was Megan who answered the phone. I told her I had an emergency as my heating system was down. She said she’d call the technician about his availability.

She called back and said Malik could come between 2 and 4 pm. He called me around 2 pm to confirm I was home and said he would be here in half an hour.

Malik is courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He checked out the heating system and got it working again.

Getting a company here on short notice that I had not used before was a home run. The fact that the office staff and Malik are professional and caring will guarantee I use Mechanical HVAC in the future and highly recommend them to others!

This was my first time using their services. I dealt with Meagan over the phone who was very courteous, nice, and efficient. Every time I needed to reach her, she was easily reachable and on top of things. She sent out Malik as the Service Technician. He was on time, super nice, knowledgable, thorough, careful, and considerate. I mention him by name, because he was really great. If all their technicians are of similar caliber and work-ethics, they are a great company. I will request Malik for my next service call.

I wished I had checked the Google reviews before. I called them as Sears Home Warranty sent them to repair my A/C. They said the electrical voltage at the disconnect box was too low and left with the deductible. Within an hour, I called my electrician to check and he said the voltage is alright and probably I shouldn't use them as they don't know what they are doing. They rescheduled to come back next day, then switched to 2 days later and then 1 week. They should be out of business if enough people know their practices.

We were forced to use Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning through a home warranty plan when our air conditioner stopped working. Mechanical never answered their phone and never called back when we left messages. Eventually, an appointment was scheduled through the customer service of the home warranty company but Mechanical NEVER SHOWED UP. Then they never answered or called back when we, or the home warranty company, tried calling and left messages again. This went on for a week. Initially, my thought was to blame the home warranty company. However, after they routed my job to another contractor who was AMAZING, there is no one left to blame except Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning.

Obviously, most air conditioners break in the summertime so I am sure Mechanical was very busy. But the other company answered every time I called and came out NEXT DAY. We even reached out to companies outside of our home warranty provider to see how quickly they could come. Even the companies that were booked for weeks into the future still answered or called back same day. That's a very stark contrast to the no answer/no call back/no show treatment we received from Mechanical for a very hot week.

Beware.

We had a wonderful experience with Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning. Booker returned all of our calls promptly and was a true professional. He explained every detail necessary in replacing our furnace and handled everything for us. He showed up when he said he would and worked very hard to complete the job within the same day. I would highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed!

Raheem, was determined to get my air conditioner up and running. Even though the repair took multiple trips back and forth to fix and many hours he was very determined to get it right. With technicians like him this is one of the best respectable HVAC businesses around in southwestern CT. I would call on him anytime again to help me fix my hvac! From the dispatch to the technician. Very responsive group of people to work with. 5 stars

I saw all the bad reviews and I was skeptical about calling. Nobody else wanted to come because it was 4th of July and my AC broke down. They came within 1 hour and although we had to wait until Monday to get the parts to fix the ac, on Monday at 8 am he was here fixing the AC. I waited until today to do the review because I wanted to make sure he had done a good job. I have no complains at least to me his company was wonderful.

I cannot change my old review for some reason, but I am here to let everyone know the problem was resolved and due to Sears customer service that the company works with. The person who came out to my house arrived within the time window and had been flexible in scheduling the day to fit my schedule. I look forward to using the company again.

I had an appointment with you guys today and you NEVER SHOWED. This is the 2nd time you guys did this to me, where I took an entire day off from work to get this done.

I even called you several times today to confirm and each time, you promised I was next for your tech to come out.

Completely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend, and will be calling Sears to tell them to remove you from their vendor list and the BBB for ignoring your service customers.

I live by reviews these days especially when it comes to needing work done to my home. I am avid about reading reviews but today I felt the need to write one. My AC was leaking in my basement.I found Mechanical Heating & A/C online I called and Mr.Booker was very professional when I called he set up a time frame that he could be out.When he look at my unit he Immediately knew what the issue was, my pump was not Working I immediately saw $$$ Mr. Booker begin to educate me on what could cause this to happen and as he went through all the causes it was a simple fix!!! Thank you Mr.Booker for fixing my Air conditioning and the education on up keep!!! Simple fix Simple price!!!
