Jason did a great job replacing my basement valve and kitchen sink valve, also installing a new faucet we got. Everything came out looking perfectly clean finished and feels really well-done.

I received a call from Jason on Thursday regarding my leaky faucet in my tub. Jason arrived that same day in the afternoon but was unable to do the job because he didn't have some of the parts. He charged $65.00 consultation fee. He returned on Monday as agreed. Jason not only fixed the leak but replaced the entire faucet system per my request ( he could have done a repair instead of a replacement). Jason did a beautiful job and I was totally satisfied and impressed with his workmanship. I was also pleased with the cost. Jason is reliable, courteous and professional and I willingly recommend Jason to anyone who's looking for a plumber.

So Jason showed up, seemed really nice, even told us what a nice house we had. Later he charges us 65.00 to estimate the job. I had to track him down to give me a price. Then quotes the job at more than 3 times what 2 other plumbers had quoted. Needless to say my leak is fixed beautifully and for 1,200. Less than Jason.
*Update* we didn't have a "bad experience " with Jason he was actually quite lovely. I just wanted to let everyone know that he charges an estimate without telling you until he is in your home and already looking at your job. In my experience as a homeowner, if there is a charge to come to your home you're told upfront. P.s. he had already emailed me, hmm

I can't say enough good about Jason. When I got in over my head on a job at one of my properties, I was referred to Jason. I usually don't just pick the first name I hear, but I'm so glad I did. - He came out on time, took the necessary time to explain everything I had going on, -able to break it down, which meant a lot to me. I wish there were more honest contractors like Jason out there. I will be referring all friend and family exclusively to Jason in the future. A true class act.

I called Jason around 5pm and he helped us that evening with a tenant's water heater. This was after another plumber (Aiello) wouldn't go to the house but tried to bully us into buying a $2800 unit without even checking it out. Jason easily fixed the problem, only charged the $85 diagnostic fee and these homeowner/landlords now have a trusted go-to plumber for all future the needs of our 100+ year old house. Thank you, Jason!

I spoke with Jason on 12/20 and he was able to come out on the 21st to see the issues with our toilet. As our toilet was a brand name, getting the parts were a slight issue so Jason had to shop in numerous places and he obtained what was needed for the job. He came back on Wednesday the 22nd and spent about an hour replacing parts and the toilet was back in action!! He cleaned up everything and was on his way. I knew about th $65 estimate fee in advance. Happy to say he's polite, knowledgeable and gets the job done.

J. T. Collins Plumbing to the rescue! The heavy rains in early July caused flooding in my basement. I contacted a company to remove the water, and when the person arrived, I asked him to restart my water heater. I was told it had severe water damage and had to be replaced (and he could put in a new one immediately). This water heater was 3 months old. So, I called Jason (who had installed it originally) and he came over and manually restarted the water heater. Jason explained that there was a possibility that the heater would not automatically restart and if that happened, he would work with the manufacturer to get it repaired – not replaced. The water heater is working great & I’ve had lots of hot water ever since. Thank you Jason!!! If you need a plumber, call Jason Collins.

Amazing, amazing amazing! This is a business we will continue to use in the future. Jason did an amazing job on the installation of our water heater on a property we have in West Haven and did an amazingly clean job of it. My husband and I couldn’t be happier.

We hired Jason to hookup a water line from our basement up to our new refrigerator ice maker. Jason did and excellent job. He was very professional and friendly. He was very neat and cleaned up after finishing the job. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

I had a leaky sink that he misdiagnosed . He didn't repair the leak just merely tightened the faucet . Needless to say it leaked even more the following day . I called and emailed him with no response. $95. 00 Literally down the drain . I had to contact another plumber who found out the real problem . The last thing I wanted to do was go online and leave a negative review but what I should have done was look at his reviews before booking. Save your money and don't use JT for anything , he'll surely take your money and run.
Just to follow up JT responded to this review faster than a call back which I never received . The problem is when you do bad business and people call you out publicly just because you can't remember who you crossed doesn't mean this review is from a disgruntled ex-employee or competitor . Maybe it's just YOU and your shady business practices. The solution is simple just do better.
