I like the communication from the company. I received emails & text messages from the office and a phone call from the technician informing me of his ETA. That kind of correspondence matters to me. Jonathan, the technician, took his time and made sure to service my air handler and a/c condenser/compressor appropriately while informing me of any issues. After he completed the tuneup, I ended up signing up for the maintenance plan.

There is an excellent reason why there are so many 5 star reviews for this company. They deserve them and more. We had had a unit installed by another company 5 years ago and it was having a problem keeping the proper temperature. We called First Response and they were able to show us that our unit was undersized for our needs. They put in a new unit and the results are just what we needed. Their installation crew was on time and when they left the entire area was clean with no sign that we had had work done. We will not use any other company. Paul Hart

We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Chuck came out immediately- on Memorial Day weekend no less. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and fixed our problem. We were so impressed that we are switching our service maintenance contract from another company to First Response.

Great company. Was having an issue with my a/c and needed to know best course of action and had several companies come out and try to sell me 2 new units within 10 minutes of showing up. These guys showed up and went through my systems thoroughly and were able to get at least 1 unit running properly and then quoted for replacement on both systems almost 15% lower than any of the other companies, while still offering me a big named system. I HIGHLY recommend them for any and all A/C needs.

My husband and I own a vacation rental company , hence we experience quite a few of last minute call outs for AC malfunctions, that need to be taken care of immediately. Usually it’s super hard to get someone after hours who would come and fix the issue fast . We were super lucky to finally come across the First Response company ! They are truly First Response! It’s the first time when we called after hours and tech was there in 20 min , was super knowledgeable and professional and handled everything within minutes . With Florida heat fixing AC in timely manner is crucial , and this company is definitely capable of doing that . Will use again and recommend to everyone!

I cant thank this company enough.
After other companies came out, left us without helping ( no ac) , and giving us a large bill to sell us a new AC unit, I called First Response AC Company.
They came out fixed the problem. Got us up running with AC on a holiday weekend. Our unit is old and on its last leg. First Response AC gave us a much lower, fair quote for a new AC system. Its going to be installed this week. Fast and efficient.

I reached out to First Response AC this past Friday afternoon as one of our Lennox units just quit working. I was able to get an appointment the same day. YAY!!! I am very thankful especially sines it was so hot!!! They were timely and kept me posted as to the exact arrival. Very professional for the appointment setting process (I believe the name was Bobby)??? He was excellent with great service skills.

The techs came out and were able to reset the system. They didn’t find the exact cause but were able to get it going again. I am very pleased.

Today is Sunday, and the system is still doing great. Keeping my fingers crossed as they didn’t know the exact reason why it went out. I will definitely call this company back for future AC needs or tuneups.

I had First Response give me a quote for a new a/c. They were fair in price. I spoke with Chuck in detail on what would be done. Being satisfied with the conversation, they did the job and I’m very pleased with the Trane 16 Seer unit. Everything promised was delivered.they were courteous and left my place clean. None of my furniture, flooring, or paint was damaged. I really appreciated the care and respect. My first electric bill with the unit was just over $100 savings over my 12 year old Rheem. That’s $1200 per year or more—I’m thrilled at the payback. Thanks guys!! I’m definitely going to recommend you to my brother he needs a system.

First Response were the only Company that was able to come out to my house after hours.
We had them replace our whole A/C system including all the duct work.
The work performed was meticulous. The crew took pride in their job and the installation came out very nice and clean.
The new supply box installed in the attic, that feeds all the duct work seems to be 2.5X greater than the original. The unit so far cools the house well. Hopefully the two stage variable speed unit that was installed will drastically cut our electric bill.
So far we are happy and the new Nest thermostat is a nice smart home upgrade from the old digital.

Very good first experience with First Response AC. The technician, Chuck, not only arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time window, but took the necessary time to successfully troubleshoot the issue with my unit, made the necessary repairs, and departed with the system operating properly once again. First Response will be the first AC company I call in the future when I need tuneup, maintenance or emergency repair.
