Jason Lathrop (owner) and the Arctic Air team promptly came out to assess our Ac/heat pump problem, quickly gave us options with firm estimates, then ordered and installed the new system (4-ton Carrier heat pump system) in a timely fashion. They identified the need for some extra work during installation, which they did at their own cost, with no haggling. Everyone was on time and professional throughout the project, and Jason followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy. Highest recommendation.
A few years back, these guys gave me fair quote to replace our main Carrier system. The product arrived banged up. They wanted to install anyways. I said no thanks and they arranged for replacement. More recently, I asked them to quote my much smaller upstairs system for replacement and the price quoted is double what the larger one was. Inflation is not 300%. And they won't service the original, larger one they sold me and installed before unless I buy the very expensive smaller one from them. I am done with these jokers.

We recharged it 2 months ago, then called again and he recharged it and this time it only lasted 1 week! He said he still couldn't find the leak. He thought we'd have to rip out the concrete pad behind the house and replace the line set. š¬
Called for a second opinion and Artic Air came out that day, found the leak in seconds and got us the right unit in under a week. Installing it today.
I'm not here to bad mouth a local company, but rather give credit to another- if you need honest, reliable help with your AC, Arctic Air is fantastic as far as I'm concerned.
Jason - Just wanted to say thanks for helping us out on the motor and after hours call out. AC is back together and works great. You saved us a ton of money and we really appreciate Correy & Geofrey - can't thank you enough for coming thru in a pinch.
Helped us source the correct motor for less than ordering it online, made two service calls, only charged us for one - diagnosis was dead on.
Gave us DIY tips and was willing to install or deliver the motor for a huge savings. Tech even loaned us a tool to pull the fan wheel off the motor.
These guys are honest and will work with you to get your HVAC running again at the best price - even if it means supporting you do some of the work yourself!
called after hours on a Friday night after my A/C stopped cooling. technician TJ was at the house within an hour and had cool air back within 2 hours him tech showing up. googled what to expect for the repairs that were needed and pricing was fair. would definitely recommend!
Unequivocally recommend these guys! Jason is always so responsive, professional and genuinely committed to getting any HVAC system issues resolved as efficiently and quickly as possible. I literally reached out on a Sunday (very cold this morning) before 8 AM and was taken care of responsively, professionally and satisfactorily! I am GRATEFUL especially in the āclimateā (pun certainly intended)ā¦in which we live in where service providers are ALL short staffed, overwhelmed and over extended. Thank you Jason and Artic of NE FL!!!
Purchased a carrier unit in 2015. Not more then a year later the motor went out. Call them for a repair and they sent out another company (his uncles company) to repair it. In 2020 the system went completely out. I called the office and they had no record of even installing or selling me the unit and the lady was unprofessional in her customer service. She just wanted to talk over me instead of listening to the issue. I had a 10 year warranty on the system for parts. She wouldnāt let me explain the issue. And with no record and the confusion I donāt recommend this company.
I did call back the company to give them the benefit of the doubt because I liked Jason so much. I told Liz that I had an issue with the the way Rachael spoke to me earlier but I respected Jason and she asked what they could do to make it right (appreciated her kindness). I said Rachael needed to apologize. She asked if Jason could call me the next day (10/14/2020). I said that was fine. I needed a new system. I didnāt receive a call at all. I havenāt made any statement up at all and as long as Jason allows his office manager to speak to customers this way he is going to have issues.
After speaking with Jason today, I've changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars & am recommending them if your AC needs to be repaired. Jessup repaired mine on 9/10/21. Suzie in office was polite & kind. The reason for my original negative review is bc Rachel was rude, disrespectful & condescending to me. My opinion of her is no different, but I am not basing my opinion of Artic Air solely on my negative interaction with her Jason took the time today to listen to my story. I go into detail on FB review. Jason changed my perception of his company simply bc he treated me with respect. I change my rating from 2 stars, due to Rachel, to 5 stars bc of Suzie, Jessup & Jason. I am absolutely impressed with the amazing customer service and professionalism of this company. From the moment I called I knew I was working with a professional office staff. I was treated like I was thier most important customer. The service technician that came to my home to service my air conditioner was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and seemed very proud of his company and his chosen profession. He exuded professionalism and answered all my questions knowledgeably and patiently. I would recommend Arctic Air to anyone.
