    Action Cooling and Heating providing an extended warranty on an ac of a new condo we recently purchased for my mom...and throughout the last few months we have used them to maintain the unit and provide service as needed. Over all they have been prompt, responsive and even righted some wrongs a long the way. Where they have shined is their loyalty to customer service, and their efforts to prove their customers actually matter. Colleen, Jamie, Mark and their owner - are truly good people with a reputable AC and Heating company.

    This business is racist, I say that because this company had posted a job position for an appointment setter on craigslist. I went there to fill out an app and the man had made a copy of my license and I was told the manager will contact me later on in the day to schedule an interview. Never received that phone call to come back for an interview. Pretty sure it is because I'm African. Should of just walked out and not did an app when I seen it was all white and only one Spanish lady working. Take heed contacting this business for anything.

    Technician opened my system without my knowledge or authorization after Hurricane Ian (he was working on a neighbor's system). He then proceeded to inform me that I needed to replace the entire system (which was barely a year old at the time) the cost was going to be 40% more than I had paid previously, I would have to waive my right to three day right of rescission, and the order would have a 25 % cancellation fee.

    So far, it seems to be functioning just fine.

    Are you kidding me? Bunch of clowns. Lost my trust completely.

    We are very pleased with the service of Action Cooling & Heating. Zach came out and performed service on our A/C unit and in the process showed video and pictures of our duct work needing to be replaced. (It was almost 40 years old.) He was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to schedule the work to be done quickly.

    Eddil, Luis and Luis (Eddil's father) was the crew that came out. They worked all day to install new duct work and two vents on our lanai (enclosed). I can now work on the lanai and have A/C while I work. The three men were so nice, funny and determined to provide the vents even when it appeared that it might be too difficult to do. I had actually given up hope to get the vents but Eddil would not give up. Luis actually held onto his son's legs to get the vents cut out. I was expecting to see Eddil fall through the roof. Fortunately, he did not. All three guys worked hard and cleaned up after they finished. We also had them install a WiFi thermostat so we can control the air from our phones.

    We ended up asking them to come back and blow in insulation into the area above the lanai and in areas that needed it. We insisted that the same three come and complete the job.

    I have noticed a tremendous improvement in our A/C air flow and used to have to set the temperature at 70 degrees to cool off the condo. I now set it at 75 degrees and am having to increase it to 77 or 78 because it is so cool.

    I would recommend Action Cooling & Heating for all your A/C and heat needs. They have a wonderful office staff that is pleasant to talk to and gets the right answers when you call. Their teams are very educated and knowledgeable in their skills and so pleasant to deal with. Ask for Eddil and the two Luis when you schedule your service. They won't disappoint.

    Eddie was our main technician and I honestly cannot say enough about his professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and determination. His son also works there (sorry I forgot your name) and he came out to do the duct cleaning and was every bit the man his father is. They had a big job here, we had toxic mold in our AC system and duct work and had to remove the whole system, the closet it was housed in, and repair and install it all back in. There were so many timing delays, product availability issues, and we had to work with other contractors to do remediation and rebuilding at the same time Action was doing the AC. It was a lot to say the least. Eddie was able to find parts last second on multiple occasions and installed the system with a detailed hand. The best part is that Eddie heard we had to move into the house because our lease was up and we (and our two dogs) would be without AC, so he showed up the next day and stayed until the whole thing was done. He was there for 8+ hours and never once complained. He wouldn't even let me buy him drinks or food to try and repay some of his kindness. Long story short, not sure about the rest of Action Cooling and Heating but Eddie and his son are rockstars and we would follow them anywhere!

    I have to give credit where credit is due. In these days where it is increasingly rare for an individual, let alone a business, to take ownership of a mistake and make things right, it is refreshing when It does happen. I have been a customer of Action Heating and Cooling since we moved here in 2017. We went with them at the time because they had a Military Appreciation service contract offer. I have never regretted the choice, and appreciate them even more today.
    Our old unit expired in 2019 and we had a complete new system installed by Action along with some major duct work. Subsequently they installed new systems in my mother’s house and a residence that I watch for a SnowBird neighbor. And many more of my neighbors now have their service contracts with them based on our experience.
    My new system had continual problems with water not draining while the other two have worked flawlessly. Over time r heir technicians tried a variety of solutions and it never resolved. This past weekend the system flooded and shut down at the float switch. A technician came out and found that the insulation in the air handler had become saturated and blocked the drain line. The original estimate was $480 to adjust the drain and replace the compromised insulation. I wasn’t happy but scheduled the work.
    The technicians got started this morning and immediately recognized that the water draining problem was a result of an installation mistake. The Service Manager came out and had a look and he too acknowledged the problem and accepted responsibility. They are now making it right and essentially reconditioning the system at no cost. My hat is off to Action for their actions. I highly recommend them for your new system and maintenance needs.

    Chase is a wonderful technician. He came out and gave me multiple options on how to get my air running again with prices ranging from $850- a new unit. After weighing my options, I decided to replace my unit. They were able to install it the same day. They were able to finance the unit for 18 months with no interest, which gives me some time to pay off the unit. I am looking forward to working with them in the future.

    The receptionist were very unprofessional over the phone. Did not answer my question or direct me to the right person. I would never use this company. Went to Coolair Conditioning and they solved my problem and were friendly.

    I had my ac unit serviced for the first time the other week and the serviceman, Chase, did a phenomenal job! He was both transparent and very helpful. I felt like the job was getting done right and there were no fancy gimmicks. He was also open to answering whatever questions I threw at him. Highly recommend.
