I recently had the pleasure of working with Island Air System to install a new water heater, and install a whole home air purification system in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results and level of service I have received.

The team at Island Air System was knowledgeable, professional, and provided me with excellent service. They took the time to explain my options, answer my questions, and help me choose the right products for my needs and budget. In addition, they also took the time to educate me on how to effectively maintain the systems in my home. The installation process was smooth and efficient, with the team working quickly and cleanly to get everything set up and running.

Overall, I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of work and level of service provided by Island Air System. If you're in need of any heating, cooling, or air quality services, I HIGHLY recommend giving them a call. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, and I'm confident they'll do the same for you. 5 stars all around!

Pete and his team were AMAZING. When he came out for the initial estimate, he had done his homework on what unit fit our house best. He brought options of brands, prices, and what was included. For someone who does not know much about BTUs, SEER, tonnage of units, Pete explained in easy to understand terms, what it all meant.

After getting another estimate from another provider, we selected Island Air because I felt like I could trust Pete and that he had been honest with pricing and wasn't trying to sell me on something I didn't need.

Pete was able to get his team out to our house within a few days after the estimate. They worked tirelessly to make sure everything was up to code, and we were comfortable that everything was working and met our expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and will be recommending Island Air to friends and family. Thank you Pete and team for putting my family at ease!

Our A/C stopped working so we called our Home Warranty Company. They dispatched the service call to Island Air and I am SO happy they did. Pete was amazing. We ended up needing to replace both our outside and inside units but Pete made a horrible situation (coming on the heels of any already horrible month) much more bearable. He was prompt, kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. All of that after only just meeting him. It’s not often anymore you can walk away from a situation like the one we were in feeling so highly satisfied on every level. Pete was so great to not only take care of our cooling needs but also concerned himself with the quality of our air. He made a valid point...anyone can give you cool air, but how clean is it? He cares about the quality of the air we’re breathing after discovering mold and fungus in our old unit. If you’re ever in the position of needing your A/C cleaned, repaired or replaced look no further. Pete doesn’t work for anyone but his clients and it shows!! Thanks for everything!!!

I took the day off waiting for Pete to show up. He didn't bother to tell me he was not coming until I asked when he would be here! On the day of the install, Pete bailed claiming there's a job holding him up. He cancelled a two day job at the last second after confirmation of availability 12 hours earlier... Avoid and look elsewhere. We're forced to spend more time without A/C while we scheduled another installer, and take additional days off. Every single other American Standard dealer in the area had better planning, personnel, and knowledge of the systems they were selling. Pete is a good salesman, but don't let that fool you. I advise that you sacrifice the negligible price difference for peace of mind and reliability. I later found out that Pete was actually not going to follow code with his install after confirmation from other certified American Standard installers.

Pete Germain let us down. Last summer our old A/C quit working and we contracted him to install a new top of the line 5ton American Standard unit. It took him 2 days to install it because he was working by himself. After it was installed we still had problems with the unit. At first his customer service was incredible. He came over at 10pm one night to get our unit to cool our house down. We had to call him to come back on several different occasions because he never was able to fix the issue or other issues would pop up. At one point he wanted to charge us more money to redo our ductwork, supposedly to get more air return to the unit!!! We were forced to call another company to fix the problem because Pete stopped returning our calls altogether. He did not honor the warranty we had paid him for. On top of that he never got a permit to do the work and we couldn't apply for the energy credit from our utility company without it. My wife filed a complaint with the BBB to which he never responded. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Pete Germain has awful business ethic. Not an honest man.

Pete has serviced our unit for three years and I will use no one else because of his professionalism and trustworthiness. I am very busy and I leave him with the run of the house. Everything is always in superb condition.

I think my AC was installed in 1983 and was hanging on by a prayer. Called Peterson at Idsland Air and had my new unit installed. My new ac unit and wifi thermostat was installed quickly along with instructions on how to maintain it. Island Air's prices are great compared to other companies that did estimated for me. Thank you Peterson.

I first contacted Island Air System about a year ago to fix my old Rheem central air unit. Sure enough, there was a coolant leak and possible compressor damage. Quoted me on a complete replacement, vents, grills, new copper pipes, new drainage, air handler, wireless thermostat and condenser. At the time, despite the INCREDIBLY low price he gave me, I did not have the funds. Fast forward to today, I kept Island Air System's paperwork, called them up and they remembered me. They came out and gave me the almost exact same quote, didn't even have it written down originally. Within a week, they had the units, the permit and began work. When the work was completed, they did a thorough inspection of the units to make sure it was working to specifications. The air was turned down to 74 last night and for the first time ever, the entire house was comfortable! I cannot stress enough, before you call anyone else, you have to call this company. I know for a fact, they will give you the most bang for your buck!
