The worst service ever came from Thomas Montoya at Wallen AC. Wallen was the contractor of choice from our GC during a major renovation and remodel, two new complete systems, including all duct work, grills and line sets. Well over $20K. The one system had a leak from day one. Wallen's fix was to top it off every few months. No attempt was ever made to do any leak work. We eventually found the leak in the copper line set and had it repaired. 8 months after the new installation, a condenser fan motor failed on a Friday in August. I waited until Monday to contact Montoya, not wanting to bother anyone over the weekend. He responded with a request to call his uncle for service. Over the next three days, 5 calls were made. 94* indoor temp. The phone was never picked up, no option to leave a message. I politely contacted Montoya again and received a sarcastic text message reply. We then contacted a different HVAC dealer, they came out the same day and replaced the condenser fan motor under warranty. Fantastic service
The line set and duct work was installed in November of 2019, the home was then completed. Electric, insulation, drywall, stucco and roof. The equipment was set, grills installed and a start up preformed in late January of 2020. We were never looking for a discount or free work, only some form of after sales service
We learnt our lesson on this one! This would be a zero star if possible.
