Don't use this company. There is something inherently mean when a contractor comes out, looks at the problem, and decides he's not going to do any work. Instead of telling us this, he lied to our faces and said he would be right back, with the proper equipment. Two hours later, he refused my calls for the rest of the day. I have seen too many news programs about seniors being stranded in the heat. Well, it was 91° inside, I am a senior, and he just left my family high and dry.
Good news is my landlord has used them for years, when the actual owner worked. He retired and his son took over. He just lost a long, steady customer from this house. Good riddance to garbage service 😂
Extremely disappointed that they did not uphold the warranty after a coil leak in a 4-year old system. They helped for a few months by adding free refrigerant, but after a while they stopped answering my calls. It became a very stressful situation. I was left with no other option than to buy a new system. I went with Canadys for their great service and responsiveness.
Previously, I would have given George's Heating & Air 4-stars. Waylon installed our entire new unit 10 years ago, in 2006. Great yearly service and repairs for 6 years while we lived there. No issues during last couple years with rental.
About a month ago, our property manager had difficulty contacting George's to fix unit. I have tried to work with Jim, personally, during the past 3-4 weeks to fix the unit for our tenants. Lots of different points of view, miscommunication and excuses. Finally, we had a plan set up to fix issues on July 1st...11 days ago. All confirmed with property manager and tenant. Just found out today-- it didn't happen. Great tenant, has been dealing with over 80° in home now for almost a month, was still patient, not complaining, tried to contact company and get it done. Calls were not answered.*** Today's discussion with Jim was filled with blame and more excuses. Then he hung up on me, it's so disappointing to be treated so unprofessionally. I Do Not like writing negative feedback, but this company is struggling and it's affecting customer service. I don't want others to wait weeks hoping for their service to get done. When I looked at previous feedback, several people had similar problems about a month ago. I do hope this company can return to their previous quality of service.
***(Advice to tenants... when dealing with important issues like this, please let property manager or owners know immediately if plans fall through. I believe that most people want to help, please remember they also have struggles in their own lives! We've all had similar problems ourselves and I do not want our tenants to suffer heat issues like this!)
Called for service at our shop, and we needed a new switchboard. The tech told us he'd have to order one, and it should arrive in 1 week. After repeated attempt to get them on the phone he stated that he's still waiting on it. This was told to me after waiting a full month. After telling them we need I'd done this week he went off and told us to find someone else! They're rude, and incompetent! Do not use these guys at all! Beware!
We purchased a full system from them. It did not work properly from the beginning. They came several times and tried to fix it with no success. I guess because they couldnt figure it out they began blowing us off. They would not show up for scheduled appointments. When I finally did talk to the OWNER he screamed at me told me all his problems and hung up on me.They would no longer return our calls. After 2 weeks in the heat of June we had to call someone else for relief (more$). We took them to court and lost Judge Strickland said WE voided the warranty by calling another company. So beware we had a 5yr warranty and it meant nothing. We also had a reciept for thousands of dollars we paid to them which meant nothing.They can blow you off and ignore you and if you call another company you voided the warranty. So bascially the warranty means nothing. They are the WORST company ever. Think hard before you hand over any of your hard earned money to these people. I hope this will help someone out there to avoid a bad situation.

The unit still didn't work so he came back to see if we had paid the money and we informed him it was still broken. He then came in and said it was a switch and that everything was fixed. When I got home from work with my small children it was 84 degrees in the house so I called again n he stated that he would come back out. 2 hours pass and I call again to see if he was still coming and he proceeded to get smart with me. He stated that if he told me he was coming then that is what he was going to do and that he had been working 15 damn hours in the sun and everyone keeps damn calling him every 15 mins. I proceeded to tell him I haven't called every 15 mins and that I would care if I didn't have small children in the house he then proceeded to tell me he will get here when he gets here. Worst customer service ever!!!
Everything was installed within a week of contacting them. No problems, and when I have had a request or questions they have been eager to help and get it done.
