Others have posted similar complaints about Fulton Services, and I wish I had seen them earlier. The company takes inadequate responsibility for the quality of its services and disregards customer needs.
On Mar 8, 2022, we paid Fulton Services $2,276.30 at a service visit, expecting that the plumber had completed the work we requested. However, we learned we had paid for plumbing work he never performed, and have new problems as a result of the plumber’s damage.
When the plumber left, he promised to return and fix what he had damaged. He had cracked a faucet valve assembly and stated he would bring a new part along with a gasket to fit our tub stopper. He took the cover from the faucet and the Kohler tub stopper to help him find parts.
After over a year, we are still waiting for them to make this right. To their credit, they made some progress in reparation last August. However, the company maintains that we should pay thousands more to have them install 4 new faucets in our bathroom (2 lavatories, each with a wide-spaced double handle faucet).
The plumber damaged a hot water faucet valve assembly. They can’t find the faucet manufacturer and claim no adequate replacement is available.
Further, they say if you replace a hot water faucet, you must replace the cold also. Each similar faucet costs ~ $600; we must purchase 4 in order for the other 2 lavatory faucets to match.
On Apr 6, after a month of no contact from Fulton Services, I sent a letter to the company by USPS.
I described repairs needed following the plumber’s visit.
—A hot water faucet leaks after the plumber tried to loosen the tight faucet with a wrench, instead of lubricating it. We now have an exposed leaky valve assembly at our lavatory in place of a finished working faucet as it was before he arrived.
—Update: From Scotty’s comments, they can’t find the parts the plumber took from our home, and he has left the company. Their offer was to let us use their discount to buy four new faucets as compensation for their plumber’s damage. Huh!
—Update: Scotty found and repaired the tub stopper.
—We paid $700 to repair a running toilet. However, the plumber didn’t repair it properly, and the problem remained. He had installed American Standard parts in the Gerber toilet without notifying us. Other plumbers say Gerber fixtures need Gerber parts.
—Update: Plumber Steve came by this week, adjusted the toilet handle, and says it’s fixed.
—The plumber charged us $1280 for installing a Watts water pressure valve. Retail for the valve is around $150; others say typical residential pressure valve replacement costs $300‑500.
—Update: Fulton Services has refunded $400.
We had requested a plumbing inspection, but the inspection report was worthless. We have no evidence that the plumber performed the work at all. They sent a second plumber to inspect, but he did similar substandard work with a worthless report. Fulton Services has refunded the $200 we paid.
I also asked Scotty to describe the code numbers on our invoice.
He refused. Scotty says only their computer support person knows the details of the charges! The customer has a right to know labor costs, details of parts they installed ‑ the manufacturer, and any guarantee that comes with the parts. We don’t have that.
Thanks to Fulton Services, we have a hole at the lavatory where we once had a working faucet.

We had our annual check by Fulton Services. Steve did the work and provided the most thorough and informative checkup we've ever had. He provided several great tips on how to keep the plumbing in good shape! All made sense and were much appreciated!

I am writing today because I did NOT have to call Fulton Services about a plumbing issue. About nine months ago when we had the same issue we had today, Steve came out and, after we'd had one plumber unable to completely diagnose (or fix) our problem, and another tell us we'd need to spend around $10,000 in renovations to fix our problem, Steve not only fixed it, he showed us exactly what the issue was and explained how in the future, we could probably take care of it ourselves. Today is that future: I did what he told me, and I fixed it myself! So I'm writing a long past-due review to say that our experience with Fulton has been great - they've been trustworthy, knowledgeable, and importantly, have not tried to sell us a bunch of stuff we don't need. Highly recommend.

Chris with Fulton Plumbing came to my home today as scheduled, had everything they needed to replace my water heater. I knew it wasn't going to be an easy job as the new water heater was 2 inches bigger than my opening to get it past my outside AC units. They did an exceptional job of taking the old tank out and installing the new tank. Chris also was extremely detailed in his work and even found a gas leak in my old line which he promptly fixed. The new tank looks great and is already producing plenty of hot water. I would highly recommend Fulton Plumbing and Chris Ramsey.

We are a long-time customer of Fulton Services. We noted a rupture in our cast iron drain pipe in our downstairs half bath late afternoon of day 1. My wife immediately called Fulton Services. On the morning of day 2, Ricky was dispatched to diagnose our problem. Ricky has served us in the past and we were glad to see him take charge of the current problem. Ricky quickly assessed the situation, gave us a quote and scheduled the repair starting the morning of day 3 and finishing mid-afternoon of day 3. Ricky and his associate did a great job in a neat and orderly manner. Ricky walked me through the finished job explaining what was done. He's a real pro and we were delighted to have him service us again. It's situations like this that make Fulton Services our "go to" company for responsive, high-quality plumbing work delivered by pros at a reasonable price.

Steve and Chris were a professional team repairing a broken pipe under my driveway. They arrived at the appointed time and worked efficiently until the repair was completed. Will definitely use Fulton Services for any additional plumbing needs.

A service call was made at my home by Fulton Services 10/18 and diagnosed roots in my pipes. They gave me detailed information, showing me exactly what the problem was and gave a complete, accurate estimate. They came back the next morning to make the repairs. The job was completed in a timely manner and my property was left in excellent condition. Douglas was wonderful- so courteous and organized. He explained everything in a way I could understand completely. I highly recommend Fulton Services for all your plumbing needs.

I called Fulton Services for a few plumbing issues, they quickly sent a technician out to service. Steve was very knowledgable, helpful, & friendly. He took the time to show me the cause of our plumbing problems & let me know my options. He had to return for a more extensive repair the next day, and I got an email from the company letting me know he was en route plus a phone call from Steve. I am very pleased with their high level of customer service and job performance. Would highly recommend them.

TJ was great - arrived right on time to diagnose our issue with the water heater. We needed to replace it, but he was able to provide a temporary fix so we could have hot water over a cold weekend. Then he returned the following week with Stephen and they did a great job replacing the unit, plus helping with a separate drain issue in the basement. I'd recommend Fulton Services to anyone looking for professional work and honest, helpful technicians.

We just used Fulton Services today. Anyone looking to use this company should be aware that the "service charge" of $89 is not deducted from the final cost of service/repair. Most plumbing services don't charge the service charge if they do the work. Thought I'd give them a try to replace a garbage disposal. The repair was $882.50 ( $793.50 to install new garbage disposal PLUS $89 service charge for coming out). On the phone when I made the appointment they referred to it as a "service charge". On the invoice it says "diagnostic charge". We went ahead with the work despite the high cost because the tech was here. He quoted $793.50. Our mistake for assuming the "service charge" was included. When I called to ask about it they wanted to give me a $30 coupon to use on next service. We won't use their services again.
