Dave's heating and air/ A+, saved me thousands when another company (who offers an inexpensive check up and their flyer is consistently in the mail box) came out and told me my entire system was going bad. They said, "my furnace had cracks, compressor motor was going out etc." Got a second opinion from Dave. There was no problem. Dave evaluated the system for free! He has done further maintenance and the system is still functioning properly, years later. His prices are fair and he is HONEST. Use Dave!

Yet again I have received timely, fair and quality service from Dave at A+. I have owned a couple of rentals since 1997 and have used A+ since 2001 for all of my heating and A/C needs. On this occasion my own A/C went out so I sent Dave a text and got an immediate response that he would be by the following morning. Considering that it was 8pm when I texted, I find this level of responsiveness to be amazing. He comes by with his protege, Gabe, in the morning and evaluates my system. I asked if I should replace it and he tells me "Definitely not". The system is still good but I need to replace a motor that has seized after more than 20 years of use. Replacement of the system would be in the range of $4300 but just fixing the motor, and the starter capacitor which probably blew due to the motor seizing, came out to 1/7th of that price.
On another occasion, I had asked Dave to come out to evaluate a heater issue I had been having on a rental property. He came out and evaluated it, found the problem and told me the repair was on him. It seems the last time I had the system serviced, a small oversight on part of his technician had led to the problem I was now having. To be clear, I have always had good work done by Dave and the people he sends out, so this was clearly not a case of lack of knowledge or professionalism, just a mistake in the final reassembly of the system. The important point in this story is that I had no idea what was wrong and I could have been told a cost to repair the problem, but Dave is the most honest person I have ever dealt with in all of my business transactions, period! He could have sent me a bill and I would have paid it with a smile, but this guy's integrity is absolutely top notch.

Awesome. Dave has come to the rescue twice this summer. Once at my house and once at my rental. He came out both times the SAME DAY I called and fixed the problem both times. Fair prices and great service. It's hard to find that anymore.

Words can’t explain how grateful I am for this company. My tenants furnace motor went out and I was quoted upwards of $1700-$2000 to replace. Panicked, I called Saturday night (listed as closed online) left a vmail, and 15 minutes later Dan called me and told me he could come out the next day, or we could wait until Monday. The best part was it was nearly 4x less than others had quoted. Thank you so much!

I've left multiple messages trying to get someone out to service the broken furnace they installed years ago and have had no responses. This is the second time I've had to get a different company to work on it because they won't answer the phone directly or return messages.
Are they out of business or what?

Yes, in a public forum. I clearly stated I had tried to contact you privately and that hadn't worked. It's possible you told me at the time that you were blocking my number but I'll admit I don't remember the exact interactions I had with the folks who installed the furnace in my old house almost a decade ago. We moved back here recently and the furnace stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Having forgotten you completely, I called the number on the company sticker you left on the unit, left a message, and waited. Days later I left another message and waited. Maybe don't ignore customer numbers even if you don't like how often they call you out for service calls. There are perfectly legitimate reasons a client you don't like might need to get in touch with you. Like now.
Over the course of its life as a rental, the manual has disappeared the the sticker on the front with the make/model information is illegible. Like I said, this is a perfectly legitimate reason to contact the installer. We've learned that it needs a few parts so the information you provided in your response is actually very helpful! It could have all been said over the phone but here we are. Now I know the manufacturer and that we're covered under warranty which I had assumed we weren't! Great! I'm glad I posted here because I was preparing myself as to the possibility of needing a whole new furnace!
Thank you, though, for reminding me about all of this! I can now recall being confused that a brand new system wouldn't control the house climate using the same ducts that the old, less efficient system used. We did end up having a second company come out who got everything working without touching the ducts so I just didn't think about it again. I don't recall what they did but the duct work is exactly the same as it ever was. I'm glad we didn't end up shelling out thousands to replace it all like you'd told us to! What a waste that would have been!
