I contacted Eddie's in mid-May to have my older furnace serviced on our recently-purchased home and even agreed to their annual service agreement. I will be requesting a refund for both, and if I don't get a response from them I will be disputing the charges with my bank based on the following personal experience:
A technician came out within a week and looked at the unit and found multiple defects that the home seller tried to hide in various ways, and so we discussed replacing the furnace entirely with a high-efficiency furnace. The technician gave me a verbal quote and I agreed for them to order the H-E furnace and do the job. The technician said they would write up the quote back at the office and let me know when they could do the replace/install job.
I did not hear back for one week, so I sent a text to the technician but received no response. I sent another text a week later and received no response. I sent an email reply to the company's email address that confirmed the original furnace maintenance job and still received no response. Maybe $7,500.00 for a residential job is too small for them? I don't know.
Based on other reviews here, I am sure that when Eddie's does arrive and complete a job that they do great work. However, despite them upselling a maintenance job to a complete replacement, I still have not heard back from them and so can only verify that they are VERY unresponsive. At no point was I rude, argumentative, or negative in any way so this treatment of being completely ignored is baffling.
PS - Ever since they came out, my thermostat hasn't worked. Good luck!
I am very happy from start to finish. The salesman was wonderful at explaining all the details of the new unit and what was to be expected. The technician was great at being on time and finishing the big project quicker than expected. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, especially family and friends! Thank you for a great experience.
We made the decision to install a new propane boiler to replace our old oil one. I got in touch with Eddie Heating & Air Conditioning firm after reading all the reviews. After speaking with Mike, he came out to provide me with a quote the same day. He was extremely careful the entire time and managed to do the job in a few weeks. Mike and his colleagues did an excellent job on installation day. I am ecstatic about this firm. As long as they are in business, I'll be a return customer.
Jeff was our technician and he was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He quickly found the problem and offered several different options to fix it. No hard sell; just options. He got the unit running again quickly. The only thing that would have improved the experience would have been same-day service, but it's Summer, so the 2-day delay was understandable. I would recommend Eddie Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone who has heating and air conditioning problems.

He answered my questions, detailed the work that was needed for the repair, and completed the job efficiently. I will continue to call on them. I phoned in this morning to schedule my semi-annual service. I spoke with Nancy and she was so very pleasant and helpful. I asked her if the company serviced my area. After checking the address there, Nancy told me that they did not service the area normally, but since I had an existing account, the company would service my property there. I have never called in to Eddie Heating and Air and had any problems. The technicians that come to my home are always very professional. I would certainly recommend them.
Eddie Heating & Air Conditioning is an amazing company to work with! Jim and his installers were awesome, the installation work was completed in a professional and meticulous fashion within one day. I could not have asked for a better service.
Ben was extremely responsive, and came out to the house right away after I contacted him. Ben was great working with and he worked hard to get our heat to finally work. Such a great company! We will always use Eddie Heating & Air Conditioning from now on.
I called and spoke with Chris. I explained to Chris the problem I was having and we made an appointment for a technician to come out. Chris wanted to sell me a membership to a service program and I declined. When I called back to update the problem information I had just given Chris I was not allowed to speak with him. The women that answered the phone insisted that I buy this service membership which again I declined. She said she would have Chris call me back but he never did and the technician never showed up. I should have waited on Four Seasons.
