Green Air Care - Chicago

Can I make this zero stars? We bought a new hvac and water heater in 2019. We flooded in 2023 and called them and said “We flooded two feet, can you come here and fix it?” They came, looked at it and said. “You flooded, there is nothing we can do but sell you a new system.” It was $398 for them to come here knowing we flooded and that there isn’t anything they can do. They could of just said that on the phone. So if you are willing to spend that kind of money for people to tell you what you told them, to take advantage of people in desperate situations, go ahead and go for this company. They aren’t here to help you in any kind of emergency unless it comes with a large $$$.

I used this company to have a furnace tune-up performed since it has been a few years since the last one. I was not impressed at all with the customer service or the technician, in comparison to the competition. The customer service rep Ashley called me late on the day before our appointment to cancel by stating that their technician had covid like symptoms.. Well we rescheduled, and the technician (Saul) was hell bent on replacing my entire furnace simply because my blower motor that's only 5 years old, needed replacement. My furnace is 22 years, but it has new sensors, combustion air inducer, flame sensor & switches. Saul charged me $100 extra to confirm that my blower motor was going bad, which i agreed to. He then started showing me pictures of other customers that had worse issues than me and started to use fear tactics for me to get a new furnace and air conditioner, which I did not call the company for. My air conditioner is only 7 years old, and although my furnace is 22 years old, it has been well maintained. To add insult to injury, he did not even want to dust off my blower motor before re-installing it. This company is not about maintenance, they are trying to replace your entire HVAC system period! Their prices are much higher than the competition. I will not be using them in the future.

I responded to a coupon I received with 2 different offers $79.95 & $189.95 on it. When I scheduled the very nice woman suggested that I would probably need the more expensive service, given that I did not know when the vents were last cleaned. The day before the appointment I received a voicemail detailing a third more expensive service and that there was no obligation if the technician suggested that service. I immediately called the office and voiced my displeasure at what I consider deceptive upselling. The 2 very pleasant technicians came today and surprise surprise I only need the $79.95 service but suggested that I get sanitizing which will take it to $229-he is the expert so I agreed. To my amazement, this cleaning is only down by accessing the vents with an oversized VAX, something I could do myself. My neighbors have never bothered having their vents cleaned and I won't bother again. Very scammy

Had a complete AC replacement for big unit in our Market. Service was prompt and excellent. Customer service was outstanding and the installation contractors. We are very pleased with the service and price that we have received. It's nice to know that Green Air Care will be there for us when needed. Thank you!

Wonderful experience! Our AC unit went out in the evening, it was original to our house, almost 16 years old. We were referred to Green Air Care. They were able to come out next day and get us a new unit installed the next day! Their installers were at our home first thing in the morning. They did a fantastic job!!! We now have them doing 6mo maintenance. Thanks so much for not only being responsive, but your staff was incredibly professional. Great business.

It was fantastic. Green Air Care tech responded immediately. Within an hour of my call his guys were measuring to make sure everything would fit. The unit I requested would not work, he let me know right away and gave me options. The team was there 1 1/2 hours early to get installed. This is the second house I used them on and would definitely use them again.

Green Air Care was recommended by a neighbor of mine and I kept their number for just in case. Lo’ and behold, 3 months later I needed to get my water heater replaced. Their installation quote is competitive and their service is fast and courteous. He went through items I needed to get done – very professional.

After leaving a message with one of the well-known companies that advertises on the radio and not getting a return call, I decided to try Green Air Care, since they are located in my immediate area. I could not have made a better decision. A technician was at my house within 2-3 hours to assess our situation, and repair service was scheduled for the following day. This was not a small job, and it was done quickly and professionally.

We have used Green Air Care a few times, and twice for A/C Unit Replacement. This new unit is so quiet you can barely hear it run when your 10 feet away. They are always on time, clean workers, and quality work. I suppose you can always find someone to do the job for less is that's your goal, but you won't find anyone better.

Green Air Care did an outstanding job. I called them earlier this afternoon and they took my information and a technician called with an hour. He arrived on time and fixed our problem quickly and professionally. We could not be happier with the service and recommend them to anyone needed service.
