We are first-time customers that found ourselves in a pinch with our AC unit after using another service. We called KTS around noon and they were able to make it out to our location by 4 on the same day. From scheduling through service, they were professional, timely, communicative, friendly, efficient, and thorough. They did a great job of educating us about the condition of our unit, and ultimately, their pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. If you need someone trustworthy, honest, and knowledgeable to work on your AC, I’m absolutely comfortable recommending John and his team over any other company that I’ve worked with since living in Chicago.

Recently moved into our home and had an issue after a large snow storm. Found KTS online and liked the Google reviews. Service was needed immediately and John (owner) answered my call. He came out quickly and 2 hours later all issues fixed. Everything has been working perfectly since. John’s price for 2 hours was far less than I expected. He and his service tech were professional, effective and efficient. I give this business 5 stars and highly recommend them.

I hired KTS for a last minute furnace repair before a tenant arrived that afternoon. They were extremely friendly, professional, showed up quickly, and immediately diagnosed the the issue (furnace motor had gone out). Ultimately they had me back up and running in time for my tenant.

We had over 5 companies survey our heating/air conditioning issue at our home and KTS was the only company who brainstormed to find a solution to fix it. John was our lead contact and he worked over a week to solve a heating/duct issue we had and was able to fix the problem. He's amazing! If you’re looking for an honest, skilled and reliable company that truly cares about their customers, you’ll find that at KTS. We have an old boiler and radiant heat system that has caused us some issues in the past year and a half which have ranged from minor to severe. The first time we called KTS we had a radiator leaking into the floor/basement ceiling causing damage. Due to the urgency of the issue, they came out the very same day to help us get the leak stopped. The second time it was a simple issue where our pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Not as urgent, but it was cold, so they still prioritized the need and were at our home the very next day to fix it for us. This last time we called due to a much bigger issue where our boiler was leaking tons of water and the whole system started making terrible noises. They were out the very same day, again, as it was an extremely cold day and they wanted to get our heat working again asap. It turned out that the issue was bigger than a simple leak, and if we didn’t take care of these other issues then we would end up with the same problem again, or worse, have to purchase a whole new boiler. They explained in detail what was happening and what our options were, and their main concern was saving our boiler, thus, saving us close to $10k. - A dishonest company could easily have taken advantage of that situation and told us we needed a new boiler, and charged us thousands, but they didn’t do that. We are very grateful for the honesty, skill and care that we’ve experienced with KTS and we will always go to them for any of our heating/air needs.

John was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and personable. He worked with diligence and persistence, doing his best to avoid the worst case scenario, the motherboard, on my furnace. After exploring every possible option, it unfortunately was indeed the motherboard; but I’m still pleased with his work.
I really felt like it was a fair deal. I recommend them.

John and KTS were able to fix my problem in just a few minutes for 1/3 of the cost of the first quote that I received from a different AC repair company in Chicago. It was clear that John and KTS had the experience and expertise needed to diagnose and fix the issue with my AC unit and they were really easy to work with.
