Professional company with financing available. Dave the owner was polite and helped us pick the best furnace and AC unit for our home. His crew arrived on a freezing day and installed everything quickly and efficiently. I recommend these guys to anyone looking to get something fixed or replaced.

My heat went out on the coldest day of the year. They were SUPER responsive. Called another customer who had heat and asked them to reschedule, allowing me to get heat a day earlier than promised. The owner was very communicative on the costs, timelines and expectations. The "install guy" showed up right on time, asked us to move a car to make sure no damage accidentally happened, made sure to thoroughly lay down drop cloths everywhere he would be waling, and wore a mask the entire time without having to be asked. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend them for ANY work you need. From previous experiences, plus this great experience, they have earned a lifetime of my business.

Our water heater went out unexpectedly, so I contacted Bass Mechanical and spoke with the owner Dave on which water heater he recommended to replace it with. Not 12 hours later Dave had a crew out with the new water heater ready to install. Installation was very quick, the installers were very polite and professional, and Dave himself even stopped by to see how things were going. Very pleased with the whole experience, and I will be using Bass Mechanical from now on. I highly recommend this company to anyone that can benefit from the services they provide. Thanks again!

OUr heating system stopped producing heat on the coldest night of the year, staqrted again and then stopped. Called our regular service compnay that we used for years and they said they were very busy and she would call me back in a while. SHe didn't so I looked for a company near me in the Sun City magazine. There were a few listed but decided to call Bass as they were in Huntley and a family business.
SPoke to a gentleman and expalined what was going on. HE said he had a man in CHicago at the moment but that he would come to our home when he finished. 2 minutes after I spoke to him I got a call from the owner of Bass, David, and he said he would come over and take a look that perhaps we just needed a new filter. He was here in 5minutes. He wore a mask which I liked. He checked they furnace and said the heat exchanger was clogged, could not be cleaned but need replacing. Either get a new part or replace the furnace as it was 21 years old. Lickily when we bought the house we bought the best furnace and it came with a 25 year warrentee. He called the supply company and indeed the part was wareenteed so we would just have to pay for labor. THe whole furnace had to be taken apart. He was able to start the furnace and showed my huband how to do it.
The next morning 2 of his crew arrived at 9 A.M. and got to work. THey wore masks. They were very quiet, didn't blare music as some repair people do, were clean and careful not to let my dogs escape when they had to go in and out of the house. THey were very clean and nice guys.
I had them also add and Ultra VIolet air purifier to the furnace as THe regular filter did not work great. The Del Web house had 10 foot ceilings with the returns right up near the ceilings. However the dust tended to stay much lower down and did ot get sucked up into the vents. THe filters didnt get dirty, which they should have as i have birds, dogs and cats and they produce a lot of dirt. David said I didnt need a new filter as the old was clean even though it hadnt been changed in 2 years. I decided to get one. He was going to put one in for me but called to tell me the supplier was charging him way too much for them and that I should get it on line, which I did. He is very honest.
It signed up for a yearly contract. I liked them better than my old company. Serviced my furnace right away, did a great job, and knew what they were doing. My old company did not always know what was wrong.
I highly recommend them.
Update- We had an airconditioner problem and the tech told us there was a leak in a tube and we needed to replace the A/C. Priced it out and they were so much more than other companies. He then sent a different tech and that one told us there was no hole in the tube. Why did the 2 techs have different findings. It upset me needless to say, so we went to a different company and decided to change the unit. We also had them put in a UV system to clean the air. I didn't see any difference in the air. We had to have them come out for a different problem and asked the teh to check the uv. He did and said it was not working and corrected the error.
I decided to switch to a different company even though I was paid up for the heating unit cleaning for this fall.

Had to replace an Aprilaire 760 Furnace humidifier that has lasted me almost 17 years when the motor stopped turning the fan. Aprilaire no longer made the 760 model and I needed to replace it with the 700M model. The fit and hookup in my furnace for the 700 M would be identical to the 760.
I went on the website “Home Advisor” to get an estimate of what the charges for the installation of a new furnace humidifier would be in my area.
In addition to giving me that information, Home Advisor also gave me the names of several companies in my area that installed furnace humidifiers, of which Bass Heating and Air Conditioning was one of them.
My “big name” HVAC company which has given me my annual furnace check-ups for the last 12 years gave me a price that was more than double what I paid Bass Heating and Air Conditioning.
I called Bass Heating and talked to the owner Dave Bass. I told him exactly what I needed done and he gave me a price that was HALF of what my “big name” company was charging me.
I was scheduled for the installation 2 days ago, on Tuesday, and I took a half day off work to be home for the installation. When the technician did not arrive a half hour after our scheduled time, Dave informed me the technician had a flat tire on the way to my home.
Dave, the owner, knowing I took a half day off from work, then came personally to my home to install the humidifier himself.
Dave did an excellent job and had to do some special rewiring on my furnace to power up the new humidifier. Knowing that he had to troubleshoot the power problem and that this didn’t end up an exact swap, I asked Dave how much he wanted for the extra time he spent troubleshooting the problem. He told me “I told you it would cost this amount and that’s how much I’m charging you.”
What great service I received and what a great company to deal with. I highly recommend Bass Heating and Air-conditioning for your current and future HVAC needs.
Dave is very honest, his prices are reasonable, he is very professional in his work, and maybe even more importantly, he knows his business--as was indicated when he had to troubleshoot the powering up of my new humidifier.

Work area around furnace left spotless. Technician explained the work done and was informative on running and maintaining system. I highly recommend Bass.

Had them out on 6/27/17 to service/ repair my outside condenser that was knocked off the house from my neighbors lawn contractor. They showed up to my home almost immediately and remedied the situation.. And NO-CHARGE. We will definitely use them in the future.
