Got recommended to this place via my home warranty company as our AC went out. Called them on Monday to schedule a visit. No answer. Called a few more times, still no answer. Couldn't even leave a voice-mail as it directed me to a fax machine. Called them the next day a couple of times throughout the day. Still nothing. Even went to their website to email them. No response. Eventually had to contact my home warranty company and get referred to a different company as we couldn't just hope and pray for them to get back to me.
Used them for my home warranty during the summer. Had to call them three times, no one ever called me back. When they finally did decide to come out, they were very nice and professional. Left a message with Lady who answered the phone about two weeks ago to get my furnace checked for winter and as of today they still have not called me back to let me know when they can come out.
Home warranty referred this business. Our air went out this week, middle of July. We have a dog who can’t be in the heat.. Called and left a message. Next morning no response. Called later that day and was told “oh we will see when we can get to you.. and we will call you back.”
A day later, I call this morning and was told the same response.
We were displaced out of our home because of the heat and no AC. Would be nice if the company could at-least have better communication and a time frame.
My brother in law James use this service last November, they didn't fix it right so he left msg after msg and they NEVER got back to him. Well, he had a horrible accident in February that almost took his life. He was in a coma for 2 months then rehab to learn how to walk again for 2 more months. When he finally returned home he tried reaching out and they finally answered him and said they won't fix it for free because it's outside the window of time. Well, maybe if you ANSWERED YOUR PHONES OR RETURNED YOUR CALLS!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! THEY CHARGED HIM $379.00 to do absolutely nothing!!!!!
Called them because my home warranty company uses them- was told at first that they don’t do appointments and the technician would just call when he was on his way. I said that would not work for me I need a day and time, atleast an idea, to when he would be coming, I can’t just leave work whenever I want. They then said they would call me back to figure out when he might have time that day or tomorrow. No call. So I called again a few days later to check in, she said she would get back with me when she talked to him that day, once again no call. Terrible communication.
Our furnace was short-cycling and needed some regular maintenance as it hadn't been maintained in years. I called and they called me back very quickly saying they were on the way. I tried Triple AAA Northgate they put me on hold for 10 minutes right when answering my call and I never did talk to anyone. I was pleased to find out that McCamy's has been around for a long time in our area and I will gladly give them a call the next time I need any work done.
Home warranty referred McCamy, gentleman said same day or next day for diagnosis, 4 days later.. after another call.. told tech about problem, he verified correct. Told warranty company furnace was fine, just makes noise. The noise being a part going out, which is a special order that's a replacement for the defective part. Furnace still sounds like a jet engine blowing up. Made several attempts to call company back, woman always says they will return my call... still waiting for that call... seriously 5 stars.. maybe from family.

When I called and gave them my information all I was told was I would get a call when the tech was on his way. This started on the morning of Tuesday May 26th, It's now about 11am on Thursday May, 28th and I have not gotten a call except to return my call on Wednesday to tell me I am on the schedule but no idea on when they will get to me.
