Miller Engineering installed our new furnace, A/C, and whole-house humidifier earlier in the year. We bought products with warranties because we didn't want to risk such expensive investments. We did have to call out a technician once after installation because we lost heat (we put in too fancy of a furnace filter that tripped the unit) but it was a good experience. The technician came out the same day, quickly identified the problem, explained the problem, and we were warm again. We are happy with our choice to go with Miller (and warrantied products).
We call Miller for our restaurant & home when repairs need to be made. We like their service, they’re prompt & extremely knowledgable. They’re also genuinely awesome people to work with.
My mother's furnace went down and I called their 24 hour number. Within 20 mins their tech Chris called me and let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem right away. Even though he didn't have the part on hand he left and returned with the part and had it all fixed within 2.5 hours. Would highly recommend this company.
We had Miller install a new ac unit. With 88 F they came the same day by 4 pm we had the system working! Technician Tim was very professional and knowledgable. Best of all Miller charged me 1k less than other HVAC companies!!!
I would leave 0 out of 5 stars if I could. On September 22nd I scheduled a service call through Miller Engineering for someone to come out and fix a small gas leak we had in our boiler and to check over/start the boiler since we had just moved in and wanted to make sure everything was working properly before winter time came. Your worker came and fixed the gas leak, checked over everything and started the heat. The next morning (Sept. 23rd) I go downstairs and there is a huge leak across our basement floor coming from the boiler (drip lag). I put a bucket under the area and called Miller Engineering to see if someone could come out that day. The person said someone would be sent out today and they would call before they head over. So I took off work and waited all day for that call....no call came. The next day (Sept. 24th) I called again. I didn’t receive an apology for the previous day, the person on the phone said someone would for sure be out today and I would receive a call before they come. So I canceled my weekend plans to sit home again and wait.....no call came. The next day (Sept 25th) I called saying no one called or showed for 2 days and that I would like to speak to a manager. I don’t think I was transferred to a manager, but the person apologized and said I would be added to the emergency list so they could get someone out right away. My husband called off work to stay home and wait for the technician. Someone finally came over and fixed the leak which surprisingly took 3.5 hours. We didn’t receive our bill for 2 long months and come to find out it is almost $900, mainly for a problem that we didn’t cause and had to wait 3 days to be fixed. On top of that, my husband and I both losing out on a days pay from work because we were promised someone would be out. Fast forward to the beginning of January. Our heat keeps kicking on and off quickly and randomly, not like a normal heater should. So I call in a different heating company to get a second opinion since yours was to do a full look over of our heater to make sure everything was working properly. Right when the technician popped off the cover of the boiler he said it was filthy in there and could tell no one had cleaned it in a long time. He was surprised your technician didn’t offer to do that or point it out to us. He proceeded to say our pilot assembly with the sensor was old and filthy and was surprised that it was even somewhat working. Again, something I would have assumed your technician would have pointed out to us. The final thing was our heat dial. We have an old mercury dial which your technician never checked. We found out that our dial was a 4 degree difference than the boiler. Again, something I thought would have been checked the first day. I have tried to contact Miller Engineering three times now and no one will get back to me. Horrible customer service and do not take pride in their work.
I would recommend Miller engineering to anyone who needed service we called them with furnace trouble and they told us we needed a new furnace our motor was going out the next day or furnace went completely out they were there within an hour and within three hours we had a new furnace thank you thank you
