Shavitz replaced our old heat pump last year, and did a tremendous job on time and on budget. Ongoing support and maintenance, also through Shavitz, has been peerless and without any kind of complication or complaint. True professionals and incredible folks to work with!

Gregory did a great job. I will request him at my next service call. On the negative side, at the previous visit of Shavitz. I was not told that the filter was in terrible shape and definitely needed to be changed. This visit was needed because of a clogged drain and I am surprised that drain was not thoroughly cleaned by the previous tech. Could it clog so quickly??
Since Shavitz installed my A/C and furnace, they have done all the maintenance, twice yearly. Excellent service, and knowledge technicians have kept everything in excellent condition. Damarius was here again today for my semi-annual “checkup”. He answered all my questions and reminded me how and when to do what I need to do to keep things running smoothly. Shavitz came highly recommended. Other people must have had much better experiences. When I called to schedule the visit, I informed the scheduler that I had an issue with one unit, but I wanted Shavitz to check both units. When the tech person arrived, he said he could check only one unit because that was all the scheduler specified. When the tech person attempted to gain access to the ceiling unit, he dropped the large metal plate from the ceiling on the floor. Fortunately, he did not injure himself. He volunteered to clean up the mess, which he did. He also charged for the time he spent cleaning. At the end of the visit, he charged for time spent accessing the building. The company should specify when the time begins and when it ends. I asked the tech person to raise the confusion about the scheduling with his office. No one from Shavitz contacted me to follow up.
Eros came to repair our air conditioning (same day service, very hot day,) and quickly diagnosed the suspected issue. He educated us very well about what we would need to get it up and running again, and helped us maximize our maintenance agreement in order to save money on items we needed.. Shavitz hires super smart people, and we were again impressed with the quality of this company’s service and trchjicians. Five stars for Eros, going above and beyond to be great.
I have only used Shavitz Heating & Cooling on my property for the last 5 years. While they are somewhat more pricey, their responsiveness during HVAC emergencies and the knowledge of their technicians make it worth it. Every technician they have ever sent to my home was professional and knowledgeable and kind. Their Office Manager, Hope, is lovely to speak to every Spring and Fall when I call for maintenance appointments. Most recently, they have sent DeMarius. What a nice, professional, gentleman! He did a wonderful job getting my AC units ready for the summer! Thank you, Shavitz. See you all in the Fall!
Quote and install process was generally thoughtful, comprehensive, and professional to replace a ductless A/C unit and blower in my home in May. However, I’m still trying to reconcile my final invoiced amount with what I discussed with our sales rep pre-install in terms of additional warranty. There doesn’t seem to be any dedicated post-sales customer service beyond the initial sales rep who is naturally occupied with making new sales (or if there is I haven’t been able to find it).
Henry displayed great patience and systematic analysis to our new HVAC and thermostat installation. There was difficulty in matching up all the operational parts which necessitated calls to manufacturers and others. Through it all, Henry communicated clearly with us what he was doing.
Had to have a separate person come out beside the individual doing the service to give a quote on a new AC which took two additional days, and then he was late for the appointment, and then he never sent via email the actual quote for a new one! Good grief. Could you design a worse customer service experience?
