I purchased a home and the previous owners had this company complete a general maintenance as a requirement for purchase as well as installing a cover for the furnace. The “gentleman” stated everything was fine. The following day after signing documents for the home, I arrived only to find the house was 62 (Feb) and my thermostat was set to 72. Nothing would work to get the furnace working therefore I was forced to call the company back. Please keep in mind, my 7 month old was with me. The “gentleman” gave me attitude on the phone when I contacted him due to him being there 2 days beforehand. He came to the home, told me to remove the cover HE had placed on the furnace, and reach into the furnace to flip a switch because it was too hot with the cover. He refused to answer questions and charged me. Fast forward, my air needed attention so I contact a different company only to find out the reason the furnace was overheating is due to a heat exchange crack and this company couldn’t believe McVey would insist I put myself and my child in danger. DO NOT USE MCVEY!! Pay extra if needed because your life and family’s life is worth it!

I highly recommend that you give McVey Hvac services the opportunity to earn your business. I could not be happier. Quick response time to give estimate, arrived on time once hired and completed the job in less than a day. Ron and his crew are very courteous and respectful of your property. 5 Stars. Thanks guys!

I called after hours for air conditioning issues. Ron was there to help within 30 minutes, he was very polite and professional. He answered all questions and took his time to explain everything. We are very pleased with the service we received from McVey and his reasonable rates. I highly recommend McVey for all of your heating/AC needs

Great service! Ron came out on a Sunday morning to see why my air conditioner had stopped working. He found that a wire had been disconnected, possibly from weeds growing near the wire. He reconnected the wire and cut the branches down. Only charging me the service call fee. I will be calling McVey for all my heating and air conditioning needs moving forward!

Ron and his men Installed and have been taking care of our air/furnace for at least 15 yrs. He"s always there the same day I call and gets it done quick and right. I have never had a problem with him or any of his employees. I would never consider having anyone else do the job and I have never heard any complaints from my friends or family that I have recommended him too.

Terrible customer service, unprofessional, and rude. Every correspondence I've had with the McVey employees has left me confused and disappointed. Each repair they've made has been a work-around, and has not resolved the entire issue. They are one of the contractors used by 2-10 Home-Buyers Warranty Company, and it is unfortunate that 2-10 has this association with such an unprofessional business. I am still waiting for "a part to come in" for McVey to fix my AC. If I find that their customer service and professionalism improves, and that the issue is completely resolved, I will remove this review and write about my positive experience. Let's hope for the best...

I had a furnace go out after hours. I called a few place and these guys were by far the most reasonable. They were at my house in less than an hour, very honest, quick and professional. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of things I didn't need. Then came the bill which was actually less than I was even quoted over the phone. Next time I'll save the searching for a heating & cooling guy, and call these guys first.

If you don't use McVey, you're going to pay too much! Mr. McVey is an honest man and knows his profession. Thank you McVey for fixing my AC!

We were very pleased with their service. They thoroughly investigated the problem and were very good about explaining what was wrong and what options were available to fix it. Work was performed as promised and on time with reasonable costs. Our new AC system works great. I'd recommend them to anyone.

McVey is very unprofessional no uniforms or anything. The Owner RON was wearing flip flops on the job site. McVey also uses what ever Parts they can throw together which will void most manufacturers warranties. They released R-22 refrigerant into the atmoshere which is Federally illegal and bad for the enviroment. It also took them 8 days to come and do the required replacement and then did not finish the job. While on my property the OWNER RON used vulgar language and Profanity. He was also intocicated you could smell it on his breath. You can also tell that they are very unprofessional by the way they answer the buisness phone, NO Hi how are you, name of who you are talking to or anything. Every time I called the company to see when it would be scheduled for repair I had to remind the OWNER RON what work had to be done at my address. This is probably why they tried to install a Heatpump on my house and that is not what was required. They will over charge you for everything and Patch quilt your system together. TERRIBLE company not sure how they stay in buisness it must be all the call backs that they charge people for that keeps them going.
