Our thermostat went black and I could not get any information from it. While our appointment was scheduled for between 6:00 -- 8:00 pm, the service tech did not actually show up until 10:30 pm. But Killian Reynolds did show up to fix our problem instead of putting us off until the next day. And he was very polite and professional and took the time to answer all of our questions. It was wonderful to have the A/C back!

Jeff arrived on time and after introducing himself, went right to work cleaning and doing annual check of our HVAC system.
Was very efficient and knowledgeable and completed his work in timely manner.
Answered a couple questions i had and Offered advice on a couple cooling issues we have with the bonus room above garage.
Advised we should consider adding a treatment to the coolant system in next couple years to keep its efficiency up.
Helped me with a quick side project, then completed his paperwork and was on his way!

We had a GFCI outlet replaced. It was working when they left, but by some fluke it stopped working after the first use, a tad over 30 days from replacement. They sent the same tech back within hours of me calling them and he replaced it no problem. Professional, timely, and stood by their work. Thank you, Matthew!

Robert Smith came out to troubleshoot an error code on my generator. He immediately knew what the problem was, fixed it in record time, and was more than reasonable on the charge. Highly recommend.

Should have turned off my backyard water faucet, turned off lights in basement, closed my basement door (fully open) leading to house, returned my water hose from the backyard back to front yard.

Bassett recently bought Jones, who we have used and trusted for years. I have had Bassett out twice in the last 9 months.
The first time, they insisted that the furnace needs replacing, which we did. Jones had been keeping it going, but I knew it was old, and trusted Bassett that it was beyond repair.
The second, was to do the spring cleaning on the AC. They said that, even though it runs, it's going bad and needs replacing. We opted not to do that. When I said no, they said they could replace the motor for only $2k. When I said no, they said that they could replace another part for $300, which we did do.
The guys that come out are nice. But sending me a bunch of pictures of numbers on a device is not "evidence" that I need to spend thousands. It may be coincidence, but it is ironic when the local guy gets bought, the bigger company suddenly only wants to replace.
Sadly, I fear we may be looking for another local repairman.

Always had good service with heat and air but electric service was awful. The cost for a hour call without any replacement parts was 472.00 dollars. The estimate was the same as the job withot replacing a breaker or plug-in. Took breaker out of panel and put it back then everything worked. However, the change was the same.$472 for a hour .
