MP&B has been doing our plumbing service for our summer cottage on Lake Tippy for over 40 years now. Never late, always great work. This year we challenged them to remove a one-piece fiberglass shower, rough in everything (water, gas, electric, drain, vent) for a washer/dryer tower, and then do the install. The job proved to be very difficult due to the age of the cottage (1945) and the extremely tight fit we were asking for. It took a couple of tries but we couldn't be happier with the result. After excepting a reasonable quote to replace original cast iron and galvanized drain piping with schedule #40 PVC pipe, Metcalf Payne & Bell sent to 2 qualified and experienced plumbers to take care of the project.
in a timely manner. They corrected some areas that were not done as they should have been and patched the floor in an area of a previous leak below the bath room. They took the time to clean up good and put things back where it was suppose to be. We were very pleased with that they finished in less time then anticipated.

We so much appreciated the help we received from you last Sunday morning. We were in a real pinch with a lot of family coming after church. We would be without water or AC as we use geothermal. Zach was just SUPER!! Fixed within three hours from our call. Excellent employee who was prompt, courteous and friendly. Consider us a new customer.

Cannot recommend these folks highly enough. They rescued us from a bad instillation someone else had done and were kind, responsive and wonderful to work with. The work they did was great and the price was below what they quoted us. Amazing!

Very poor management of prioritizing of jobs. We waited 6 weeks for them to come to repair a broken leaking hot water pipe under our slab. Kept us on a hook telling us week after week that they would get to us! Causing mold and damage to our heating/cooling ducts. Also, causing us health issues with the mold spores all through our home. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this business. They really didn't seem to care about the "emergency status" of our problem.

Local plumbing and heating company that has been around long enough to know whats going on. Used them recently for a shallow well pump and pressure tank replacement. Job was done on time with high quality parts, and went out of their way to fit the service calls into my schedule.
