Solon Heating & Air Conditioning

My husband called several times to get them to come out to adjust the furnace. The response was that they would call back in the afternoon. They did not. He went and visited in person and was told they would come the following week. They did not and they did not call. We replaced our furnace in 2020. We had to call another company to get someone to come and adjust the furnance.

Seriously the best service I have ever had when dealing with someone from a trade. Derek had me up in running again in such a short amount of time. Derek was knowledgeable and walked me through the repairs when I had questions. Will be calling them first in the future for any HVAC needs. Derek was 5 star service all the way!

While not the worst of the 3 places we ended up with before the 3rd finally fixed the issue with our furnace they did not fix the issue and did not come back when we called back saying it was still not working. If you want someone who will blame the other guys this is your place to call.

This is everything you hope for going with a small, local contractor. Jim, Gretchen, and the whole crew area very knowledgeable, reliable, and most importantly straight-forward. There was not sales gimmicks, no nonsense.
Our furnace went out in January, Jim came out the next day (despite it being their busy season for service calls and replacements) and walked us through the options, prices, and pros/cons of different systems. He was able to get our new furnace installed within 2 days of our old one going out.

I highly recommend Solon Heating and Air, would absolutely use them again, and will recommend them to anyone I know who's looking for an HVAC tech (like you!)

I have to share my review to tell how good they are, so evey home owners can have less frustrating when problem appears. They are very perfectional and knowing the best way to do the job. They are very honest and fair price for my problem. They show up on time and very friendly. I am so happy and very thankful that they take care my problem right the way. After a nightmare experience with a different repair place in North Liberty, I called Solon Heating and Air to save the day. That they did, promptly, respectfully and professionally. Solon Heating and Air has been saving the day for 36 years of my life. Growing up in the area, leaving for bigger cities, you really miss businesses like this. Honest, hardworking and with their heart in the right place. There should be no other place you should call for your heating and cooling needs, or just if you want to work with nice people.
