Breathitt Mechanical Co

Between my parents and myself, we HAD done business with Breathitt Mechanical Company for nearly 30 years. Within the last year or two, this company has gone to ruin. If you contact them, you are told you will be put on a list, no date or time given as to when you will be serviced. The last several times we attempted to do business with them, we had to wait 2 weeks or more, then, when we phoned we were told we weren't on the list, or that they had no idea when they would be out to service our unit. The office staff/secretary is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. So if anyone is in need of service, I HIGHLY recommend using another company; you will be wasting your time trying to deal with this business. I would give a negative star rating if it were possible.

Doug Minix has done a great job for us. He came by, looked at our old furnace and.gave us a lot Of info suggestions and His recommendations for our needs and cost effoenvy. When we' we're ready we called him he ordered the unit and installed it two weeks later he saved us a bundle on the unit and installed it on about 5 hrs and left the site clean. Doug is a great guy and they do s great job . Electric bill savings average $300. A month with the new efficient unit.

Called to schedule to have my furnace worked and because I had not used them before and they could not schedule me until after the first of the year they told me to call someone else. Lololl...what kind of business sends customers away...they did not even ask if it was an emergency. So I will do just that, find someone else.

Called at least 3 different times for an estimate on replacing our heating/cooling unit. Left my name and number each time. No return calls. Must not need my business.

I only called to see if they could come fix our heating and air unit and the lady that answered the phone was very rude so I will not be using them
