Just this week we had a problem with our air conditioner and James found the problem created by another contractor who built our house. He saved us so much money and in as little time as possible. You could not have a better hvac company to call. We highly recommend these wonderful professions.
Sunday night, May 29th, at about 11:00 p.m. I thought the main level of my home was warmer than the lower level. I checked the normal things and then called the emergency number, leaving a message to call me Monday 30th, which was Memorial Day. James call at 9:23 a.m. after finishing another service call and asked if I wanted him to come and check the system. He arrived at about 10:00 a.m. and after my brief explanation immediately checked and replaced the capacitor in the outside unit. The system started working. He checked the thermostat for the proper settings and the temp at various floor outlets.
I told James the system was reasonably new and he said the capacitor might be under warranty. He checked the date of the system and it was still in the warranty period. James was honest and could have tried to upsell me on a part or service that was not needed. He did not. Quite refreshing in today's environment.
James had a very good demeanor and interaction with me; a nice young man. I felt comfortable in his presence and with his job performance. He is a good representative of the company.
I have a service plan which provides for spring and fall service. Years ago David started servicing my system, his demeanor was very good and his ability very acceptable. I continue to specifically request him; I trust him.
Additionally the company has a person on staff who is very knowledgeable of unusual HVAC problems not normally encountered, provides higher level support to the service techs via telephone consultation and goes on site to diagnose issues when necessary.
I have used Automatic Air for 10-12 years for service and about 3 years ago they installed a new system specifically designed for my home.
I woke up this morning and realized my ac had stopped cooling,I remember an add on waky for Automatic air. I called and left a message a short time later a man called me back and told me he could check out my situation around 11 o clock. I told my wife about it and she told me I needed to call the company that installed it,so I called the man back and relayed this info. He told me ok and let him know if he could help me. I called the company that installed the ac system,they came out and I was told my compressor was bad and that I needed to buy a complete condenser. And the unit would be approximately $4,000.00. Not sure how to come up with the money my wife and I went to purchase some window units. I suggested we call the automatic air guy back just to get a second opinion. He told us not to purchase the window units and let him come and evaluate our situation. He came over in about 20 minutes and took maybe 10 minutes to check things out. My capacitor was bad on our condenser. He said he had one in his van and let him see if this was the problem. He was correct. When asked how much we owed him he told us just for his time. Well $133.50 was a big difference.From now on Automatic Air will get all of our HVAC business. And if anyone I know has an ac problem we will suggest Automatic Air!
Cody was very accommodating in coming to our home late on a cold night when our furnace was intermittent. Apparently there were many service calls because of the very cold weather. After working all day for others he arrived with a cheerful attitude and got right to work. His technical analysis was outstanding. He repaired the problem, offered advice for the future and cleaned and tested are system all in one hour. What a delightful experience! We will definitely call Automatic Air again!!
We had a friend recommend Automatic Air to us and we couldn't be happier with their service! They came out about 15 minutes before their scheduled window. Our technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was fast and we signed up for their maintenance package for follow-up service. Thank you so much for your great customer service!!
I discovered Automatic Air after a friend told me they had used this company and had a good experience. I shopped around and ended up getting a furnace with them years ago. Eventually my AC went out and needed replacing. After doing research and getting some estimates, I chose Automatic Air again based on customer service and pricing/ product quality. Greg, the owner, has been nothing but helpful. It is a family run business and has been around a long time. I can see why!
One of our units was non-functioning and another HVAC company we consulted advised us that we would need to replace the entire unit. Neighbors who had used Automatic Air insisted we give them a call, so we gave them a try. Allen from Automatic Air arrived and was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and an excellent technician. He was able to immediately identify the problem and performed a quick, albeit probably only temporary, fix (upon my approval). He was transparent and very clear about what we could expect and I appreciated his honesty and candor. He also spoke with my husband on the phone to discuss his findings and recommendations, which was much appreciated. Thank you!
Awesome service. We got our HVAC and furnace replaced. Everything moved much quicker than expected, all appointments were right on time (not early or late), and the technicians were very professional. They left my place cleaner than it was when they showed up.
Just bought my first home back in December of last year, HVAC always ran a bit odd but thought nothing of it until it stopped heating all together. From start to finish Automatic Air was friendly and was able to work with my schedule and fix the problem quickly. They got our HVAC back up and running *much quieter* in no time.
Automatic came out recently to look at my unit after my basement flooded with all the rain we've had. I was extremely satisfied with the tech and the advice he gave me after he serviced the unit. Wanted to make sure everything was safe and in good order after being in 6 inches of water. I was pleased with the service and the price.
