The outside unit was assembled by his wife and we have no complaint with that.
The issue we have was on the inside, in the utility room, done by Larry and his helper.
When reassembling the Unit, the box that holds that filter, he installed it and the duct work upside down. (There are rails inside that need to be on bottom, now they are on top.) He said the way to fix that was to put new rails in on the bottom. They are metal, sharper than razors. I asked if he would cover them to keep them from cutting me (I’m 70 and on blood thinners). He didn’t seem to think it was an issue.
Also, he had to drill new holes in the box to secure it upside down. This means for however long it took him, he wasn’t cognizant it was upside down!
There is a one year labor warranty on the contract. Before the job was done, we asked him to fix it. He said it would be alright and have nothing to do with the airflow. Guess the warranty was a lie.
So, I have an upside box with razor sharp rails, and he could care less.
This man has left my 78 year old mother in her mobile home with only a space heater in this below freezing 3 degree weather! She called me crying this morning (Sunday) asking why he would do such a thing. She needs a new fuse on a breaker box apparently. He said on Friday that he could not get the part until Monday, and left her!! I called to question him about this and he told me he had no responsibility in this matter and hung up on me!
I called this company for a service on a rental property. They were quick, responsive and reasonable. My dad also used them for services and had good service.
