A+ personal service, very fair prices, good efficient work, would absolutely recommend. I am a commercial HVAC professional, but I did residential heating and air conditioning, and from first to last conversation the entire process was exactly how I would have done it. I had a difficult furnace replacement in the crawlspace of my 1942 home. I already knew it was unrepairable and needed to be replaced. They came on time, listened to my concerns, was able to give me options that fit my budget, and a good ballpark for future work. The work involved finding and cutting an access door to pull the old one up through the floor from the crawlspace below. They made good work out of a difficult project.
When I say fantastic service. I mean it. They were quick and efficient. They offered me choices that would with within my budget and also the length in when I would receive them. Though there were hurdles in the way they completed and installed my AC and made my house livable again! I'm so impressed with the Service, the professionalism and respect they offered. Will definitely be a returning customer.
My sister had this company come out early April 2022 a week ago and they installed new water source heat pump. Installation came out okay and professionally done. However they did not install new T-stat neither did they offer to do so. I came to see unit and noticed same T-stat and immediately contacted my sister to have them come back out to install new T-Stat. They installed a 1990’s looking T-stat and when I asked Manager why they didn’t install digital T-stat he replied with smart tone saying she didn’t ask, I’ve never seen a professional company come install unit and do not change T-stat not even offering to upgrade is appalling. My sister payed out of pocket over $5,000 for water source heat pump and for them to try to get over on her has me irate if you decide to use this company be aware that they will get over on you.
We have used Beltsville Heating and A/C for the last 18+ years, and have always been completely satisfied. Although we miss our long-time technician, Alpha K., who recently retired, we recently replaced our furnace and A/C with Nick Vining, who was very responsive, professional and tidy. We highly recommend them!
Proffessional, reasonable and on time. I have always recieved a quick response and excellent service. Will never use any other company. They re-built my HVAC system after others nearly ruined it and replaced a leaking hot water tank while making no mess!!! Thanks again Nick!
During the past 22 years I have used every service offered by this company, have gotten to know almost all of the people who work there, and feel as if they have become a second family. The quality of work is always outstanding, and they have never let me down in an emergency. I cannot say enough about them and would recommend them to anyone.
The service person cam to the house and properly diagnosed the problem we were having. When I asked him how much to fix it he said I needed a new unit for $4,500 brcuse he couldn't read the serial number on the unit. My son was able to read the relevant serial numbers and fixed the unit for $160 in parts. Ehen I called the offive to report this upsell I was given a nonsense argument about not reading the unit serioal number - ehich was not true - and he had no answer for the fact that we could get the part number at Grainger and fixx it ourselves. This is a dishonest operation.
BHAC was very helpful in replacing our main AC and furnace, water heater, and adding a ductless heat pump unit to the second floor. Nick Vining offered a competitive quote and his team was professional and responsive.
Beltsville Heating and AC was called to service a gas log fireplace. The technician could neither diagnose nor repair the pilot which did not come on. Charge was $80 with no diagnosis, no attempt to search the internet for the problem, no calls to home office or other technicians who might have given him pointers. $80 for NOTHING.
The second company I called immediately diagnosed the problem as dirty pilot which needed to be realigned. No parts needed to be replaced.
My complaint: When Beltsville Heating and AC was first called, the problem was explained, and I was assured they were experienced fixing gas fireplaces. This company also advertises gas fireplace repair services. Yet, the technician who came to the house had no knowledge of how to repair the simplest malfunction.
