My recent experience with Logan Mechanical was excellent. I replaced both my a/c and furnace and as a real estate professional of more than 20 years I've worked with many heating/cooling companies over the years. Logan Mechanical, while not the least expensive, was by far the most professional. They listened attentively to my requirements and thoughtfully incorporated those considerations into their recommendations. They confirm appointments, are tidy and punctual. The response times were impressive with any questions I had. The owner Tristan Smith is as particular with your home as you are. I highly recommend them.

I moved into my Condo two years ago, and the AC/Heat was never solid. After the coils broke and multiple refrigerant charges. I finally decided to replace my unit with a bigger unit to make up for (Global Warming, the high elevation/ceilings, and lots of natural light!)
I reached out to multiple vendors and decided to go with Logan Mechanical. Paul came out first to provide an estimate, he was professional, knowledgeable and on time. A quote was sent shortly after his visit. I had a few general questions, so Tristian came back out to validate and confirm before we moved forward. Everything was handled well, and they were patient and honest with me.
I knew for sure during the second visit that I wanted to work with them, mainly because it’s a black-owned business but also because they provided great service. After a few weeks, the HVAC unit was delivered, they arrived on the scheduled date, on time, and they were very thorough and cleaned up behind themselves; I was nervous because, during the installation, they didn’t seem to have any issues (which generally doesn’t happen with renovation work) all of that to say, they took care of everything while I worked from home and now I have cool air blowing through my vents for the first time in almost two years.
I’m very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to anyone, especially for reasonably priced new installs.

I would recommend this business and their services. We purchased a home in AU Park a year ago and knew that we were walking into a situation where an HVAC system update would be required. s prompt showed up on time and was also very professional. Actually know what he's doing, did the diagnostic on the furnace and know the parts that is needed. Return in 15 to 20 minutes with the part installed the and stayed at my house long enough to endured that the furnace while working properly. And yes the furnace is working exceptionally well as expected.

I hate to leave a negative review, especially on a black owned business in my area. However, I want to share the unprofessional experience we had with this company.
In late October, we contacted the company because we were having issues with the heat pump in our home. Sam in the office was helpful and professional and quickly scheduled for a tech to come out. While he ended up arriving late to the scheduled consultation, I appreciated that he called before hand and kept me in the loop. While at the home, he quickly diagnosed the issue and removed a part that he advised was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. He stated he would order the part and contact us when it arrived. We paid the $100 service charge that was due.
Fast forward several weeks after mild weather and we realized we never received a call. This started a month long back and forth ordeal trying to get in touch with the office and technician, trying to follow up on the part that was supposed to be ordered. We left messages at the office but sometimes the phone just went unanswered. My husband was finally advised by Sam that we were "high priority" with the owner Tristan and that he would get back to us ASAP. He did not. We called several times again and finally were sent a quote for the part and 2 additional labor charges. We called back asking for clarification as to what the labor charges were, no response again. We were advised that the owner Tristan would speak to us and proceeded to schedule a call with me, again this still did not happen. After calling back the following day, Sam said Tristan called. Obviously this was untrue, what professional would call a client and not leave a voicemail, it was obvious he did not call. She finally gave me his direct number which I called and finally got a hold of him. After explaining my concerns with not only how we have been mistreated and disregarded for several weeks, also questioning the invoice and the additional labor costs. He immediately got defensive and combative and said, "your husband said he is an electrician, I thought he would replace it". As if my husband's profession as an electrician has anything to do with your company's professionalism and business practices and our request to have work completed.
Again, like others had commented, this company has a serious issue with being professional and following through on their commitments. Please seek another company if you value your time and home.

They sent a technician out right away to provide me with an estimate to install a furnace mounted humidifier. The price seemed a little high to me, but it was clear that they had good experience in this unusual domain. The job was pretty quick, and the results are working fairly well. The unit uses a lot more hot water than I expected, but other than that no complaints.

Courteous, professional service. The tech showed up on time and answered all our questions, made the appropriate recommendation with no pressure to ‘buy today’. I was so impressed with the performance of the water heater project, I engaged Tristan and his crew to change my boiler and two vanities in my bathrooms. I have no hesitation to recommend Logan Mechanical LLC.

CAUTION! Do not! Do not! Use this company! Had a new unit installed less than 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it breaking down. Expensive electric bills. Call the company several times and just get the runaround. They start to play a cat and mouse game on warranty work. They give you phone numbers nobody answers.. text message no replies.. finally got my unit fixed after a month of only using auxiliary heat with an extreme electric bill! Can't get in touch with anybody. And they will not give out owner information. CAUTION!

I bought my first condo. It have everything on my checklist except for central AC/heat (instead there were 3 through-wall units). I thought I could live with it but I quickly learned that my bathroom did not receive heat or air (ugh). I began looking for contractors shortly after moving in and ended up getting six quotes. Logan Mechanical was by far the most reasonably priced.
I would say I am a anxious/a client that is needing of hand holding and Tristan/Logan Mechanical were super patient with me. I had a lot of questions about brands, installation, and ducting. They answered them all for me over multiple phone calls even before I signed any contract or officially selected them to install my HVAC unit.
Installation was super easy. They finished early, patched and painted the walls (if I had not seen the hole in the wall before they patched I would not have known it was ever there). I have already recommended them to two friends in the DC area and will continue to.

The technician arrived on time and was professional. I called Logan Mechanical out to do an annual AC tune up. He helped correct some 'mistakes' made previous HVAC contractor and ensured my system was working as efficiently as possible. I would definitely call them back for future service.
