My family has been working with the owner Chris for 15 years. He's fantastic to work with. Chris and his team simply get things done. They take the stress out of things and are super trustworthy. I highly recommend and wouldn't think about calling another company.

We had D&A replace one of our HVAC Systems and had the most amazing experience. From the time that we reached out to them about scheduling an estimate the communication was impeccable. They arrived on time, provided a prompt estimate and answered all of our questions. The scheduling could not have been easier. The day of the install, they arrived on time; were professional; took extra care of our home in terms of cleanliness, and made sure we understood how the system worked. Their prices were very competitive and they did not try to oversell us or push extra options we were not interested in. Prior to this we used very popular local company for over 15 years and I was admittedly hesitant to try a new company; however, I am SO HAPPY that we did because we will now be using D&A for all of our HVAC needs.

I have used D&A for HVAC maintenance, repairs, and replacement work on several homes. They are fast, extremely knowledgeable, and to the point with honest information allowing me to make the best educated decisions. Their work has been great. D&A sent Mitch to my condo to find the source of a water leak. He was very thorough and found that the source of the leak was a blocked drain in the building. I have an old AC unit and, although it is working, I will need to replace it soon. The owner of the company Chris Tippett was responsive and informative about my options.

I have been using D&A for a few years now. They installed a unit at my main home and a unit at my condo rental. Great company with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the DMV area.

I had a great experience with D&A. I was looking for someone to install ductwork for my kitchen range hood. I reached out to numerous places but what set DNA apart from the rest of the places were their knowledge about local building codes and requirements, for example are very familiar with building codes in the DC area and they inform me about having to get makeup air since my hood was over 400 CFMs. Their knowledge about the type of ductwork you need to install. Also the quality of their customer service. Other contractors fail to disclose this type of information which would have caused us to have problems down the line.
I would definitely use them again

We had 2 hyper ductless mini-split AC units and 7 registers installed in our very old 1930’s home. All I can say is outstanding work!
When we first started looking for HVAC companies, we received quotes from 2 other local companies. What stood out with D&A was their communication, fair price (they were lower than the other 2) and they didn’t try to up sell us on an extra register for our office. We were told the air flow from the living room would be strong enough to support this room. We also decided to get the Kumo Cloud to help us control settings using our phones. Chris was honest and said there was a back order and offered a solution for a similar device (the other quotes did not offer this!). As for cleanliness, many contractors can leave a mess after work is complete (we’ve had our fair share), but D&A was respectful of not just the inside but outside too! They were kind enough to save my rose bushes 😄 that right there showed me they cared.

Lastly, we were surprised at how many 5 star reviews the company had (you rarely see that many positive reviews for any business), but having worked with Chris, JJ and the rest of the team we quickly understood! If more companies could share this type of professionalism, honesty and work ethic, it would make things so much easier. Again, we can’t recommend this company enough!

We had gas leak in our Walk-in box at my restaurant, which was affecting its temperature. Our "local" refrigeration company wanted a week to come fix it. With no notice, D&A came the next morning and fixed it! This repair was under warranty and there was virtually no paperwork or hassle.

The team was prompt, highly professional, and I am indebted to them for their outstanding customer service!

D&A Services company was very professional the staff Karry was pleasant and friendly the Technician Jay Jay was knowledgeable on time I also had a great experience with Jason and Trevor in March 2023 Mr. Jason and Mr. Trevor was very neat and left no trash behind, they did there job very well and provided me with excellent work and customer services and courteous I will recommend D & A Service Company Heating and Cooling to my friends
