I hired Thomas E Clark's HVAC division to come inspect and maintain my A/C unit. The technician, Roberto, arrived promptly and with good communication. During the maintenance, Roberto patiently explained what he was checking for and what he found every step of the way. He was extremely patient with me as I asked him to repeat and re-explain things to me and to explain what the names of specific components of the A/C system were and what they were doing. He also did extra cleaning and tweaks to improve the system and was very friendly and conversational during the visit.
Roberto ultimately went above and beyond in every aspect of the A/C maintenance and advised me on future potential problems. I also had a pleasant experience on the phone with the scheduling employees. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone asking.
The service representative arrived right on time, and took care of a number of faucet and toilet leak problems, some requiring installation of new hardware. The repairman was efficient and able to answer questions I had about the repairs. The helpfulness of office staff as I scheduled the service visit was a benefit as well. I will definitely recommend the company to neighbors and friends.
We had a problem with our residential Heat Pump. Brian & his assistant worked relentlessly time and time again until they got it fixed. The part ordered came faulty, so they made several trips. The level of professionalism displayed was very impressive. Beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended service!
Davon was great! He addressed our problem, found a You Tube video for another concern & gave us options for replacing our hot water heater. We have used Thomas E Clark in the past & will use them again. They never use scare tactics to sell you on a service. I trust them to do a good job & be honest about our needs.
The technician came to inspect my a/c system. He checked the unit in the attic, he changed the air filter, and cleaned and tested the outside unit. He was very thorough and helpful, explained everything he was doing.
Our upstairs bath tub was leaking with wet spots appearing on first floor ceiling, so my wife called and was told that they could come diagnose the problem for $69.
The plumbers arrived and filled the tub and drained it a few times and said they could not find the leak. They cut a hole in our drywall to observe, but could not get a good vantage point and could not find the leak. The plumber kept saying that he thought we were getting too much water on the bathroom floor and that it was leaking around the edge of the tub. We kept insisting that we did not think so because this happens when the floor is totally dry. They said they would need to cut a hole in our ceiling to be certain. We decided not to go that route. They left, (after a little over an hour), and left us with a $390 bill.
After they left, I borrowed a thermal gun from a friend and could immediately see that the tub had in fact leaked when they filled it, with obvious moisture spots on the ceiling below (not visible to naked eye, but easily visible with a cheap thermal gun, or easily detectable with a cheap moisture meter).
The next day, I unscrewed the tub drain from above and found that the rubber drain gasket was worn and misaligned. I replaced it for $3 and fixed the problem myself in under an hour. No more leak at all. (Thanks YouTube).
I called and spoke with the owner who was very polite and lowered our bill to $175. That was nice of him. That said, I am still pretty dissatisfied. This was a waste of time and money. I'm just glad I didn't let them cut a hole in our ceiling until I checked the drain myself, because we would have wasted hundreds more dollars and we would have another needless hole in our drywall.
On the plus side they arrived on time and were polite and communicative.
We use Thomas E. Clark for all of our HVAC and plumbing services. Their team members are ALWAYS professional, knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. Most recently, they got our water heater back up and running the day I called them -- which was the busy Monday after Thanksgiving! Highly recommended.
Thomas E Clarke, Plumbing was professional, on time and upfront with their fees. The two pro's Diallo and A. Covell were clean, neat and left the job cleaner then when they arrived. Great Job!
I highly recommend this company! A live person answered my call promptly, they were fast and efficient and they spoke English. Brian was the technician's name and he was awesome.
Get together day after T-Giving, needed to get same day as guests were coming at 4:30 (called just before noon). They were quite busy, but checked and would try to get someone out by 4, if at all possible…and they made it! I’ve used them for many years and they’re always competent, professional, friendly and arrive in the time frame they give me. Great group!
