March 30, 2023 I accepted a proposal for work to be completed by AMS for a mini ductless heating cooling system for my home. The job was quoted, and cost basis was factored with the $1800 MassSave rebate he told us we were due, by purchasing and installing with him. After the install, it took over a week to even get the rebate paperwork/information from the owner. When I began filling the required paperwork, I found I needed a very specific invoice to submit to the state. He will NOT provide me an invoice. At all. I was told "your proposal is your invoice" I dont know in what world a business would think that is legal blows me away. The owner told me "its difficult to get your refund, you have to fight them for it." No, sir, you are the problem, YOU ARE NOT PROVIDING REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION! If i have the very simple, but detailed invoice, I would have my rebate in hand already. I reached out to MassSave and they are trying to help me, but dont seem to be getting anywhere with him. I am alerting Google in hopes other customers dont get taken by him.

My grandmother is an immigrant who can't write or read well in English, and it seems to me as though she's totally being taken advantage of by this business.
Her and my grandfather hired AMS to install a central air conditioning unit in May of 2014 and had issues from day one. It didn't cool their entire home and they called him to troubleshoot the issue. According to her, when he came to check it out he always had an excuse. It wasn't until his fourth or fifth visit over the course of FOUR YEARS that he realized there was a leak. He filled it with gas in July 2018 and promised he would return the next day to find the leak and fix it. He never showed up. Their warranty for the unit is up in May of 2019, and they've even offered to pay him for his time to fix the issue, yet, he hasn't responded to their text messages or phone calls in a month. The last they heard from the owner was a text message that read, "You don't know what you're talking about." No, they aren't experts in central air, but it isn't rocket science to sense that their house isn't cool. Incredibly rude. They just want this issue resolved and to have the cool home and services they paid for. Hopefully, this review will compel the owner to finally take care of this.

Respectful and professional. Call with an issue and he will be there. More than fair prices.
