Within minutes of fixing my furnace, the condenser water pipe began to leak and completely flood my floor. When I contacted the tech to ask about this issue I received no response. I had to contact a different company to fix the leak caused by the tech.
We hired J&J to install a three head mini-split heat pump system in our house. They came on time, cleaned up well, the technicians were professional and polite, the job was done to our complete satisfaction. We're very pleased and would certainly hire them in the future.
I am very pleased with the service of J & J, I have been a customer for over 30 years, would not trade elsewhere, recommended several times to friends and all have been very pleased. CSR excellent, technicians are very client friendly and know what they are doing. They installed the original system and have maintained it every since.
Tech. Kim was on time, did his job as described and gave the 10% retiree discount by calling the office. Cleaned and maintained. Water Pump and capacitor was suggested to change, which we did… I think a little bit pricey but overall satisfied. Thank you
Firstly, I usually don't write bad reviews because I don't like to ruin a business's reputation, but I don't think the good customers deserve the treatment I got. I scheduled an appointment two weeks ahead with the understanding that around this time(spring/summer) they could be pretty backed up. Came the day of, I had to leave work early because there's a huge window of time(12 p.m. to 4 p.m.). I patiently waited until 3 before I called and checked the status. The lady receptionist couldn't reach the technicians and even asked for my number which led me to think they didn't even have my number on file. The technicians could've tried to contact me. Receptionist called back to tell me that they couldn't make it. I took work off to wait around so they could tell me last minute? They didn't even have the courtesy to call me; I had to check in myself.
With that said, I will make a complaint tomorrow morning to the manager. If they can somehow make it up, I will update this review. Leaving one star is too kind.
I was having issues with my central air not blowing any air from the vents. I reached out to J&J on the Friday before Labor Day weekend and scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday. They were on time for the appointment and Mike was very knowledgeable and was able to figure out the issue in minutes. I needed a new motor for the fan. Thankfully the supplier had one in stock and Mike was back out the next day to replace it and give the system a tune up before the winter. Going forward I will always request Mike for service calls, he is friendly, reliable, knowledgeable and all around a nice person.
We have been happy with all the interactions we have had with the folks at J&J - both office and field. We trust them to give us great service for yearly heating and a/c tune-ups and are confident that their experienced personnel will identify any potential problems. Their focus is preventive maintenance. We're fortunate that Jack typically shows up for our appointments and look forward to his friendly face and advice.
A very professional group. The first crew arrived on time and started right to work. They installed new duct work. Great job. Then another Crew arrived. They brought the big, beautiful, American made AC Unit. More men arrived. Yikes. Everyone knew what Needeand proceeded to install the AC unit. All sorts of tools, noise, and then the finished product. Everything is working perfectly. We highly recommend J & J heating and air conditioning for ac and heating. J & J installed a new furnace for us 14 years ago. It is still working efficiently.
So my heat died obviously on the coldest night of the year so far at around 2 AM. I search for their number because it’s still under and call their 24/7 emergency line since my house was now at 49 degrees. No answer so I leave a message. I figure out what it is on my own. I finally get a call back from the tech at 7 ish in the morning. The tech was great though, he said the parts are under warranty but I would need to pay for labor if he came out. I told him I figured out what was wrong, he joked and asked if I wanted a job, he explained a little more detail about the part that failed and how to keep it running. Then said just call during their business hours and I can schedule the pickup of the parts since it’s under warranty. So I call to schedule pickup of the parts, and they refuse to warranty the parts unless I pay the labor for someone to come out and look at it for them self. So they want me to pay more in labor to have someone come to my house and tell me what I already know, than the actual cost of the parts. As opposed to me just bringing in the failed parts and replacing them. Thanks a lot for the fake warranty. This cost them a customer for sure because obviously I would need them at some point in the future, but now I will never call them.
Now to make matters worse, you’re going to publicly lie and say you called me back at 4am? Are you forgetting we have smart phones that show us exact times of calls? It was 7:04 am. The first thing he did was apologize for taking so long to get back to me, he wouldn’t have done that if it was a 10 minute wait. I don’t want good service just because I posted a bad review, I posted a bad review to warn others of what I dealt with. You had your chance, you showed who mattered, and it wasn’t the customer. It shouldn’t take me needing to go online and post a review to get what I needed and deserved. The parts are under warranty, you should replace the parts. Whether you take them off or me shouldn’t matter. You chose to help a multimillion dollar company make money off a stupid policy, over helping a customer who’s heat doesn’t work the coldest week of the year. You reap what you sow. I got the parts for free anyways from a company that actually cares. And I have no problem paying them to install them because money and Goodman corporation wasn’t the first thing on their mind.
