My central air was having issues and leaking water all over my basement floor, so we were not able to use it during one of the most recent heat waves. When I first completed the New Request form on July 4th on their website it had said that the soonest appointment would be August 4th. So to say I was surprised when I received a call only TWO days later to schedule an inspection for a quote the SAME DAY would be quite the understatement. Hector showed up to the house and after explaining to him what was going on with the unit and what I had done to troubleshoot and such, he explained what he thought the issue might be and what steps he was going to take to figure out what was going on in a way that was easy to understand, even if I hadn’t known anything about anything. He got to work and was keeping me updated in between steps taken and what he had found. He was honestly the nicest, most personable service people I’ve had at the house ever. He has to order a part for our furnace, which would take a while to come in, but he didn’t want to leave without making sure that we were okay before he left us today he did a temporary workaround that will hold us over until the part comes in. He was here for a little less than three hours and the house is cooling down as we speak. Thank you Hector for ending the heat wave in our house! Sorry again for being an awful host and forgetting to offer you a cold beverage while you were working in 90 degree heat! 100/10 would recommend Hampden County HVAC to anyone needing their house serviced. I will definitely use them for all of our hvac needs going forward.

great company, very knowledgeable in their field and professional install. they replaced my dinosaur furnace that was 80% efficiency to a 96% efficiency air source heat pump wich saved me thousands last winter from propane.
